No guesses.
I do look forward to him improving and getting back to being more comfortable.

Re: Swanson demoted to AAA
Yikes! I just looked it up and Swanson is 2-40 with 15 strikeouts in in his last 15 games, of course those ABs are spread out. I really hope Chipper or someone down there can help him with his swing where he will be driving the ball again. Maybe Swanson needs to go to the leg kick that is becoming popular around the league but I'm guessing that's more of an off-season experiment.

Umm Camargo and Sean Rodriguez will get time at SS. Kind of disappointed, I really though Dansby would win ROY.

It's definitely necessary.
I wonder if the pressure of playing ball in his literal home town has played a part in his struggles.
Any way, I believe in the kid. Just got to get his head on straight.

Looks like that stint in AAA might've fixed Dansby

I think Dansby will be a good solid all-around player, but Albies is the future star of the 2.

And Albies might not be around too long if Maitan turns out to be as good as advertised.
Maybe they move Dansby to 3rd base?

It'll be interesting to see who gets to Atlanta first - Maitan or the 18 year old they just signed from Korea who's getting compared to Turner of the Nats - and who wears the same number as Dansby. But it'll be a few years for both of them.

Dansby's wild ride:
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Normal adjustment period in year 2...
or long term cause for concern?

Long-term, I think he's fine. I was looking at Jon Schoop's stats the other day; OPS under .600 in his rookie year in over 400 at bats - near the very bottom of every 2nd basemen in the majors. This year, he's .850 - tops on the O's. I think Dansby will be a consistent upper .700's OPSer, and he'll cut down on the errors.
