I thought it was over when the Dodgers took the 4-2 lead - even changed the station - didn't come back till the bottom of the 9th - holy bleep. These first 2 games have been so dramatic.

Wow, what a moment. Rosario hit that ball 105 MPH - can't blame Seager for not keeping his glove down.

Really, it was like our GM getting that hit. I thought it was kinda nuts when AA traded for him when he was injured, and AA had already gotten a set OF. Well, he had 4 hits and the walk-off. He also made a great catch in the first inning. And Joc Pederson again comes through - with the 2 run bomb off Scherzer. And Riley continues to be our MVP.

Even the bad umpiring couldn't stop the Braves - there was a different strike zone for Scherzer than there was for Anderson.

Giving up the walk to load the bases was disappointing. It always is during the postseason and it made me pissed off.

Thankfully we tied the game and eventually won.

The base running was on point.

Rosario Impressed me when I saw him play live this season. I looked at the person that I took to the game and said this young man could make a name for himself.

I also thought it might be over after the Guillermo center field blunder. Albies, Joctober Riley and Will Smith played some clutch ball and Rosario, what an absolute huge pickup for us. Let’s keep it rolling!

Has anyone gotten the Joc pearls yet? I know it was a giveaway at the game yesterday. Trying to get one. #joctober

Ronald Acuna Jr. staying 'positive' through ACL tear recovery, embracing new role as Braves cheerleader

ATLANTA -- With the Braves in the midst of trying to get past the high-powered Los Angeles Dodgers and into the World Series for the first time since 1999, it might be easy, from the outside, to forget that they are incomplete.
They've been that way since July 10, when star outfielder Ronald Acuna Jr. went down for the season with a torn ACL.

While Acuna can't help his teammates on the field, he's been present in the clubhouse, and was on the field before Sunday's Game 2 of the National League Championship Series, chatting up teammates and fans, and providing a rare bit of insight into his ongoing rehab.

"I feel really good, and I'm really happy to be here with my team now that they've made it to this point," Acuna said, through Braves interpreter Franco Garcia. "This is what it's all about."

Brutal first inning - and when you do that against Beuhler, the game's usually pretty much over. Their 2nd batter gets a 2 run homer. We get our 1st 2 batters on and hit into a CF to 2B DP. Man, that stings.

And to make matters worse, in the 2nd inning - we hit into our 2nd DP.

Uggghhh we had that. Up 5-2 with 2 innings to go. Im not gonna second guess and it’s tough facing Cody but man, Jackson needs to give him a couple different looks.

We can’t let that get to us though. Bullpen game tomorrow our offense has to come alive again.

Ps I yelled DON’T PITCH TO MOOKIE! Maaan. I know
Seager was up next though pick your poison.

Tough series.

Go Braves!

So close to being up 3-0. Jackson looked gassed and over used.

Do we go Ynoa today or Smyly? Bullpen start. Luckily we face a lefty in Urias, gives our righty power bats a chance to get going again. Also turns Albies to his good side.

Go Braves.

I think both teams are in danger of over-working their bullpens. We need to knock Urias out of the game early - make him work. And we should try to get 3 plus innings each from both Ynoa and Smyly. And I do think it was a mistake to not put Richard Rodriquez on the roster. We didn't need to keep 2 light-hitting backup infielders - Camargo's 2 at bats have been awful.

Ya for sure, I thought Rodriguez would be a key member of our bullpen after we acquired him. Definitely a mistake to leave him off. Agreed on working Urias too. Cliche they keep using but let’s pass the baton to the next guy. We have a lot of pop in our lineup, we are capable of scoring 8+ runs, today would be a good day for an offensive explosion.

9-2 Braves Rosario 3 run HR, his 2nd HR of the game. He was a double shy of the 2nd cycle in post season history.
