Braves activated OF Ronald Acuña Jr. from the 10-day injured list.

So much for that reported May 6 target date. Acuña is back in the fold with the Braves ahead of Thursday night's series finale against the Cubs. He was supposed to spend around three weeks playing in minor league rehab games, but the reigning World Series champions decided to pull the trigger early after the 24-year-old superstar batted .368 with a .941 OPS and three stolen bases in just six games (25 plate appearances) with Triple-A Gwinnett. Acuña is nearly 10 months removed from last year's ACL tear and should be an elite five-category fantasy producer the rest of the way here in 2022.
