http://baseball.realgm.com/src_wiretap_ ... extension/

ESPN - Dustin Pedroia has signed a six-year, $40.5 million extension with Boston through 2014 with a club option for the 2015 season, ESPN's Peter Gammons is reporting

Interesting. I’d say this is quite below-market and a huge win for the Sox. Hopefully he doesn’t spend it all on bubble gum and baseball cards.

Sweet, now they get all his prime years and can cut bait when he probably turns to **** around age 30-32.

Plus now they don't have to go to arbitration with him, which is always a plus as far as I can see.

I sure don't see anything wrong with this move for the Red Sox. Lock up a young player to a salary friendly deal. Good times.

For anyone in the AL East that has to play against him 18 times, the signing sucks....lol

Smart move by the Sox.

Damn it.
Basketball is driven by three principles:

1) Movement 2) Application of fundamentals 3) Predictability
