Baez was terrible to start the season in AAA as well before turning it around. I expect him to struggle. I'm expecting Mark Reynolds type of production from him the rest of the season. Low avg, low OBP and big power. I expect him to start to figure it out in September and finish strong and to follow it up with a strong season next year. Yes, I might have my expectations lower then they need to be for the short-term, but I have complete faith in the kid long-term and a LOT of prospects struggled

A Hamels trade was never going to happen. They were reportedly asking the Dodgers for their top 3 prospects before the deadline. The Cubs version of that was something like Russell, Almora and Pierce Johnson and that was never going to happen. Maybe in the off-season Philly shops Hamels and realizes what the value of Hamels is, with that contract, they will move him for something like Vogelbach, McKinny, C.J. Edwards, Olt and Candelario. There is no way they get more then what Tampa got for Price.
