Lost a game to Cincy. Unacceptable!

Kidding. But Lackey, c'mon man.

Hammel historically has a good half season. Hopefully with the other quality SPs and the hitting, he can keep it up because he's looked awesome so far.

16-5 start. Arrieta 5-0. That doesn't suck.

Of course not. There are always some jealous people trying to tear down those doing well.

Stephen A. Smith for example says such nonsense so he's paid attention to.

Also, Miggy Montero was put on the 15-day DL (retroactive to April 25). They said it's nothing major and just want him to rest his back as he has a chronic disc problem that's flared up.

They called up Tim Federowicz to platoon with Grandpa Rossy, but they did hint that soon Federowicz will probably be making a few more starts as Ross can't catch everyday (though, they've been extremely happy with him).

The two postponements this week have really ruined my week. Kinda. This Cubs season already has been so much fun.

Tell me about it. I had tickets to Wednesday's game and was already down there when they called it.

Today, I just wanted to watch the game. Stupid rain.

Through 27 games, the TEAM ERA is 2.31. That is phenomenal, especially when the offense is averaging over 6 runs per game. It's gonna be a fun ride.

22-6 record. +98 run differential in 28 games is the best since 1903. :o

...and it's been done without 1 of our 3 top prospects. Not to mention our salary capabilities explode in the next coming years and more than likely we're in for a big superstar trade or two in that same amount of time. I mean, it's Theo, and we'll be in the run for years.

ZoBeast! So many guys can just rake on this team that all you need is one guy dialed in and another doing alright. Starting pitching has been great!

23-6. +101 run differential. Leading the league in most runs scored, and fewest runs allowed. Have not lost consecutive games yet (only have lost 6!). It's remarkable.

Just wait until Heyward starts hitting and Montero can come back and play every 4/5 games.

Just swept the Pirates and the Nationals ... man. This is Heyward hitting badly, Soler hitting atrociously, and Montero not in the line up. I don't see why we can't win it all.

Oh, I forgot we don't have Shwarber.. :o
