So long Joe

Sorry to see Joe Maddon gone but that's the way baseball has been for 150 years and it's not going to change.

He was the right manager for the right team for the Cubs to finally win a World Series. That was 2016 and time doesn't stand still or keep repeating. It started to appear that he wasn't going to be the right manager to win another World series with these guys so the time is right to make a change rather than resign him and find out it was a mistake and they have to rebuild the team.

Let's see is out there who might be the guy to get most of this roster to win it again.

i liked joe, but i guess it was time. the team never really took off and became the dynasty we all hoped for. i don't know who that is all on (front office, manager/coaches, players) but the manager is the easiest to axe

any ideas for the next manager?
