Our charges drawn are about to sky rocket. Maybe reach Ilyasova levels.

12 minutes a night as a positive player. That's what we're looking for.

ExplosionsInDaSky wrote:Can Lowry still defend? I imagine that is why we signed him. Teams are running a layup line of threes on us, guys aren't rotating, Lowry can help with some of our defensive issues I think. Other than that, it's a nice depth signing that allows us to lower the minutes Maxey has been playing.

He can flop.

Rather have Lowry as backup PG than Beverly.

I love the pickup. No risk, and a solid playoff bench piece should Embiid return. Maxey, Council, and Smith can learn a ton from this guy about being a pro in this league.

Pay Bev is so much better than this washed-up chump. I hated him deliberately trying to injure Sixers players in the playoffs a few years ago, he is a grub.

Ever not recognize a poster's name, but have it blocked, and then get curious about their post? Don't.

Kobblehead wrote:Look, I'm glad that this means a lot to Lowry to come play here. He's had a tremendous career in the NBA and it's cool that he gets to close it out with his hometown team.

However, I'm a little concerned about taking on a guy deemed as a castoff by Pat Riley and Erik Spoelstra. They usually have a good sense on when to move off of guys.

That said, even in cooked form, Lowry has been shooting the ball really well. If he can sustain his shooting, he'll be a more valuable player for us than Beverley was.

Also, I'm not willing to write off Cam Payne, yet. He's got more bounce in his step than Lowry and is shooting just as well. I hope Nurse gives Payne a fair chance to compete with Lowry.

He played 28 mpg for the Heat this season. It's not like they turned him into a bench warmer. They just took the chance to trade for an upgrade like a Rozier who's also a lot younger.

Let's hope we plays well here. As a buyout player he's a no brainer. I think he should be at least as good as Beverley, maybe even better.

Maxey learned a lot from Obi-Wan Kenobi /Harden. Now Lowry/Yoda is here to show Maxey how to harness his force and truly become a menace in the regular season and beyond.
The Accession of Paul Reed is upon us !

Bring on the draft

You want it to be one way....but it's the other way.

"Harness his Force" sounds like a title to a pornhub video...

Here comes Mr Sunshine! Lowry is mostly cooked. The Heat are not a dumb team. He won't be any more valuable then Pat Bev, and thats not a knock on Pat Bev, but it we loved him so much why did we trade him? Guys this is going to be an awful end to the season please adjust your expectations accordingly and stop grasping at straws like Kyle Lowry. This orginization has done zlich to deserve such loyalty from the fan base. Enjoy the game with Cleveland tonight!

I just hope he didn't lock the door before he left. I have to go to Scranton this weekend.

Lowry is the perfect add. Especially playing the Heat next. I bet he can’t wait to beat his old team!

Do you want to revisit this and appolgise?

The corpse of Kyle Lowry is not an NBA standard player. It was such an obviously terrible signing. People from Philly convinced themselves it was great because of the weird self-obsession that you have with people born in Philly

Check my post history - I don't get much wrong. Maybe pay more attention to what I say before going off half-cocked.

Says the guy that had an obsession with Bum Simmons, in the end I was right, Kyrgios ended up achieving more :)
