Honestly a little impressive considering that Kessler, Dunn, and Hendricks all are good on defense.
It was not a good defensive season for John Collins... At all. He's just way too small to start in the NBA.
And George and Sexton did not help here either, lol.
The Jazz currently have the worst defensive rating in NBA history.

You can achieve anything when you apply yourself.
Draft Nate Wolters - FAILED

The real decision the Jazz FO is making is between Continuity, Cap Flexibility, and Cash Considerations.

What is wild is that while we were bad with Olynyk and Fontecchio, this is largely the product of about the last 20 games.

It's not really what we wanted. Most people wanted to be competitive this season. I wanted this suckage last season from the beginning. Racking up wins and being decent for more than half of the season and then tank just feels wasteful, especially this season when the draft is supposedly much weaker.

This! It's like Ainge/Zanik can't stomach not getting the absolute most out of their assets while ignoring how it is affecting their draft status, which IMO is much more important.
