Next time you see Chris Berman tell him Magilla says he's a real douchebag.
Just Kidding.
About telling him.
Berman's still a douchebag.
You just don't need to tell him.

No way Houston goes for that if we match Asik. They want their quid for our pro quo. I'd be very disappointed if we didn't match Asik.
I stated earlier during the week not to be surprise if the Bulls make a sign and trade for Courtney Lee. The Bulls love Courtney Lee and since Asik has agree to sign with the Rocket the Bulls might make a trade involving him or Watson and someone else.

I've only meet him once and he's pretty cool. LOL I think the coolest and nicest of all of them is Stuart Scott.

Thanks. What exactly have you heard regarding Lee?

We could maybe sign Kirk with the Bi-annual exception, and then Lee with the MMLE. I'm not certain that we could do that, but I'm pretty sure that if we can convince Asik to wait like 5 minutes before singing his offer sheet, we can use the BAE as long as we cut Brewer. If I'm correct, it could go like this:
1) convince Asik to wait a few hours on July 11th before signing his offer sheet. While he waits, we do this:
2) cut Ronnie Brewer
3) sign Kirk to BAE for say two years
4) sign Lee to MMLE and match Asik
5) win titles

Hinrich at the MMLE for two years would be a solid signing, especially given the rest of the market so far. For what some of these other guys have signed at, that's a pretty good value. I guess we have to wait and see.
If it happens, it will be the first domino to fall, and maybe we'll get more signs about what the FO wants to do with Omer and the rest.

Re: Per ESPN: Bulls & Hinrich Close On Deal
I don't get the love feast with Lee and bulls organization. He must be an out standing citizen, best at high fives, pats on the backs, and sweating hard in practice to give off that hard work look. Because when i see his game he does nothing special nor does he do anything I feel we need. So unless its at a discount I rather seek someone else.
But i'd take kirk he's at least a gritting in your face defender can play both guard spots and is a leader/while also being ok with whatever role given, and won't complain. And can shot it from deep. All things we can use somewhat as long as he's not ridden to the ground and played/payed to much i'd welcome him back with open arms.

Isn't the whole "per espn" thing in the title kind of misleading? Why exactly wouldn't ESPN report this if it was the case. I'll gladly bite my tongue if it happens in the next 15-20 minutes though

We'll I have heard the two sides seem close on deal that could be a done deal pretty soon.
Courtney Lee is listening to the Bulls pitch and seems interested on joining the Bulls. I know for a fact the Bulls were interested in guard Brandon Roy but decided not to pursue Roy because he was too much money, his injuries are question marks and because Lee became an unrestricted free agent.

A friend of mine used to work for ABC on the golf tour, and his job early on was to go out to the green and hold up the windsock (or whatever it is) to get info on the wind conditions so that could be broadcast

I would really forgive GarPax the signing of Kirk, If we are getting Lee, too. GO BULLS
But who knows....it's better not to expect that.

That actually sounds like a pretty cool job
