From putting him in situations that are more easy for him to succeed. And if he doesn't, not so much pressure on him. He plays better when he is having fun and lose. He is a kid. Starting games is not that. Ending close games is not that. He just isn't ready for that stuff yet. Success will bread more confidence. Just being on the same court with Kobe and Howard is a big deal for this kid. You don't start him against them. That is stupid IMO.
From coming off the bench.
From not being put in when the game is on the line.
By watching more vet player succeed.
Randy is making this NBA start harder on him, not easier. This is how you mess up a young kids head.
He needs more practice. He needs more experience coming off the bench.
This is not rocket science.
