Re: Community Thread:In Honor of Soviet Russia!!!
Question for y'all; dose anyone know what breathing in dust does to the lungs? My family and I got hit by Sandy and after some deconstruction (to dry up the walls/contain the mold), our house is filled with dust. We're looking to rent a place for the time being. Obviously I'm not expecting it to have some health benefits, but what are the possible aversive effects of breathing this stuff in? Also any possible symptoms to look out for; my throat has been feeling pretty rough the past week and I don't if just a regular sore throat or...needless to say I'm a little worried. We've been in the house for about a month since btw. Thanks.

I use a #40 weight vest and do those workouts on the .pdf. The only thing I've added to those exercises which has helped strengthen my lower back big time is by doing trunk twists, but standing with feet larger than shoulder width apart, where I extend my arms and with my right hand touch my left toes and vice-versa with my left hand. I go slow so I make sure I bend at the waist and to keep my back straight.

Re: Community Thread:In Honor of Soviet Russia!!!
you do that to improve your back? full body workout? I don't see one isolating or at least the back is the main muscle group worked.
thanks for the link Ty. I'll try this one out. I can even do this at home even without the vest.

yeah the twists but isn't that for the lower back? I'm thinking of building a V back ala Phelps but solid ala GSP.

read somewhere that using different variations in your grip during pull ups can do that, that is why I'm inquiring on doing exercises to improve my pull ups.

one article states that grips don't really matter with lat pulldowns. wide or narrow, results are the same. yep Slav, saw somewhere that those two do give your back size. though in that article they specifically suggested one arm rows and dumbbell rows where your palms are facing outside.
