I'd be really anxious to see who this would be in reference to. Also surprised it came from Woj.

Isn't Minnesota already risking too much with this roster?

EJ would be a slick pickup for the Wolves. So risky though with his injuries.
I think Pau is gonna be a T Wolve next year for sure ...

This is foolish, unless they get lucky and steal some real talent. Taylor must be really desperate to win now, not even make the playoffs, but just win some games.

Clock is ticking on Adelman and kevin loves contract.

If you have been paying attention to how we have been drafting in the first round, then you shouldn't be up n arms about trading some of those picks if we are bringing in proven players. Last thing I want is another 20 year old who will take 4 years to be serviceable.

word from CH is they are targeting Mayo and Corver for picks/JJ.
1st for a half-season rental?
talk about short-sighted.

if they bringing in expirings, that's a possible top-10 pick for a half-season rental and a chance to overpay.
if they bringing in long-term money, that's bye-bye PEK.
**** that noise.

if you want to dangle something, dangle D-Will/Ridnour/Barea.
don't touch the pick, unless a real difference-maker is in play.

I fully agree with this. I don't want to see some short-sighted moves happening. Afflalo would be nice to have, though and definitely worth trading the pick for.

You're assuming teams want our players ,... teams want picks because they are like a lay-away plan when avoiding tax. Flask the picks and then try to move the players

You're right. If true, I question that they understand that they wouldn't have Mayo's Bird rights next year. He'd be a full UFA, and all we could offer would be a deal starting at the MLE.
I can understand that DAL would take about any future 1st for Kaman and Mayo next year, and I suppose the MEM 1st, currently 26th, isn't worth much, but throwing it away this late in the season just seems like a waste.

Somehow someway...
Out, pick (top3 protected this year), Ridnour, Pekovic, Williams, Roy exp.contract and Stiemsma
In, Gasol, Afflalo, 2nd round or young player in cheap contract

I'm not too concerned about it. There aren't any can't miss superstars in this draft and we are talking a mid to late lotto pick and a late first rounder. I also assume they would be attached to a player such as Ridnour or Williams just to match salaries and free up a roster spot.
If they can get a decent 2 guard for Luke + first(s), they can then move Williams in the offseason and they should have enough room to resign Pek.

There aren't a whole lot of SG who might be available who I'd give up multiple firsts for. Maybe Eric Gordon?

Yea, the easy trade is something like...
Ridnour+Roy+1st for Afflalo
Williams for Biyombo
Rubio-Barea
Afflalo-Shved-Lee
Kirilenko-Budinger
Love-Cunningham
Pekovic-Biyombo
Draft a combo forward with the Memphis pick... et voilá!

That's why I put the s in parentheses.

I don't know that Afflalo should be worth a top 10 pick, unless your talking about the Memphis pick, he's definitely worth a later pick.
