Andrew Goudelock
Was thinking maybe we could use a specific thread for him, since he seems like maybe the one in-doubt SL guy besides Malcolm with a shot at making the team
What are people's thoughts on him? Shoots the three, did it all throughout college consistent and superb
What do people make of his other guard skills?

Re: Andrew Goudelock
i think he's a solid shooter who can handle the ball. at present he's plays more like a undersized 2 guard than a legit NBA PG.
he would be good off the bench if we can carve a niche for himself in a shooting and play making role.

Re: Andrew Goudelock
I haven't seen him play. Looking at his staaaats, he does one thing, and one thing only. Shoots threes at a high rate and above-average accuracy. That's where half his shots came, as his shot from the rest of the court was pretty bad. He took 0.1 shots(out of 4.4) from at-rim distance, and shot 26% from 16-23 feet. Assist-to-turnover ratio is 1:1. I can't pronounce his name, so I'm gonna call him Andrew Godfrey. How is his defense?

Re: Andrew Goudelock
Looks like instant offense to me. Since we're not going to be keeping Nate around, why not sign this guy??

I'm wondering if he could be Gary Neal 2.0? Hopefully the Bulls FO give him a real solid look and invite him to training camp if he continues to play well.

I like him. Has a scoring mentality and has enough size to decently defend SGs if Thibbs can teach him. The only players I'd want over him are nate, tmac, or maybe beno udrih.

If the Bulls can't find a battle-tested veteran for the minimum, I could see the Bulls making an offer to Goudelock to wear a suit at the end of the bench until someone (Kirk) gets hurt.
Personally, I question whether, at 6'3", he can defend NBA 2-guards outside of occasional stretches when the opposition goes small. In most circumstances, he'll be giving away 3-4 inches.

I like him alot, he seems very very confident.
I can imagine him in practice going at Derrick Rose the same way he would go at Marquis Teague. He looks fearless like he doesn't backdown to competition.

I'd take him, reserve SG. Sign him for a cheap Thomas like unG'd deal. Hinrich will likely get hurt and Goudelock may be able to produce when that happens.

Re: Andrew Goudelock
I don't know if the Bulls are still considering Nate Robinson, but if they do, I would tell him to decide quickly to take or leave their offer, b/c if he wants to come back he has to do now, b/c they otherwise sign Goudelock. i'm down with Goudelock, I liked him in the draft a few years ago and I still would like to give him a try. And after watching that youtube I'm sold. Tell Nate now or never.

I'm so sick of vets with more experience, b/c they have the most experience in getting injured.
Give me a young guy with potential, we have enough vets.

ppl still want battle tested vets?
this guy has young fresh legs with room to grow give me that over a aging fragile vet thats not even gonna be able to provide that experience on the court because he'll be in a suit on the bench
