Re: SAC/CLE/DET
If we are going to trade Irving (and I am for it) then it should be to blow everything up, not to add 2 decent players on new contracts. I would want to see a re-building package. Cleveland can try this re-building thing all over again with a nucleus of Thompson-Waiters-Bennett-2 Top-9 picks in a loaded draft.
I do like the idea of a Deng for Monroe trade if Cleveland keeps Irving. That could work.
PG: Kyrie Irving
SG: Dion Waiters
SF: Max-contract FA
PF: Tristan Thompson
C: Greg Monroe
That is an interesting team with a bench of Bennett, Jack, and Zeller. If you are LeBron, this is an interesting team to go to. Every single starter is 23 or younger and every single starter would be entering the prime of their careers as you turn 31/32. That is a good scenario to put yourself in.

If Cleveland was willing to let Deng go, why not just look to force Detroit's hand by making Monroe a sizable offer, while also retaining Irving? Plus, trades need to have reasoning included...
Well at least we're not Detroit!

Because Detroit can wait and tie Cleveland's cap-space up until they make the decision to match or not. A sign and trade like that takes care of everything immediately.

Personally, I'm not a Monroe fan
If I'm giving up both cap space and Irving I want something better than this.

As far as value is concerned, Cleveland would be better off resigning Hawes as opposed to paying Monroe's freight.
Well at least we're not Detroit!

No from Kings, and a hell not if Kings get top 3 pick.
We need a PG who can play some D, Cuz is not capable of holding the fort down consistently with both Mclemore and a poor D from pg position. It would help if we had a great defensive 4, or a SG that played D, but this is not an ideal situation for Irving I'm afraid.

Mods must be taking the morning off otherwise this would have been locked.
OP's laziness deserves a -1 if there were such a button. 1st he steals the deal from another site then he doesn't add reasons to it and still posts it on this board.

Yeah I don't think it is good for Cleveland or Sacramento.

I'd do this from the Kings' perspective, though as others have said, I'd go in a different direction if I were the Cavs.

For this Cavs fan, you'd have to send Monroe and Irving out Sacramento and send back Thomas and Cousins to Cleveland (Sac could keep its pick).
Detroit would still get Deng.

Yep, sorry, all trades must include reasoning for all teams. Feel free to re-post.
