Re: Forum Changes 2.0
I don't like how I get notifications for people who quote a person who has quoted me. I only want direct quotes, is there a setting for this?

Unable to see embedded youtube videos, just says error loading video. Any idea on how to fix this?

Re: Forum Changes 2.0
Can we have news links only for the sport of the forum we're in? I'm only ever in the baseball forum and I don't follow the NBA/NFL at all. I've temporarily used AdBlock to block the news links entirely but I'd prefer to see the baseball ones again.

Re: Forum Changes 2.0
Is there a FAQ thread for all things that pertain to the "Manage notifications" changes? Because I'd asked a question in this thread and it wasn't answered by anybody.

Re: Forum Changes 2.0
Anyone know why we can't access the Trade Checker directly from the forums?

Re: Forum Changes 2.0
I'm a big believer in making sure that changes don't make things worse or less usable. But....
There used to be a list of assigned-to-another-team draft picks, for all teams, with protection details, that could be accessed with a single click using a drop down menu from any NBA forum.
Now I can't even find the list at all. Not sure if it still exists. If it does, it's certainly not in an intuitive place or readily usable.
The same applies to the trade checker. used to be easily accessible via that same list. Now, no idea if it still exists, and if so, where to find it. I can always just use ESPN's version instead, but...
Would love to see that changed back somehow where it was easily accessible and intuitive.

Re: Forum Changes 2.0
I don't get all my notifications when I get quoted and then I stumble on conversations where people are replying to me.

Do we not get And1 notifications anymore? Or do they appear somewhere else and I'm missing them?

Both are accessible by clicking on the Basketball tab at the top (the one with the orange logo).

Re: Forum Changes 2.0
Klomp, are you sure? When clicking that icon, all I get is a page of random bb items. No real menu to work from, just wade down the page and try to find something I guess. Wiretap type stuff in the left column, "Basketball Analysis" type stuff in a center column, and polls, discussions etc on the right. If those items are there somewhere, they're so hidden I can't find them.
I do see a Trade Checker link on a set of links across the heading, but nothing on draft anywhere.
Will you please describe for me, click by click, where to go to see that draft-pick related list?

From that page:
-NBA (roll over)
-GM Resources (roll over)
-NBA Draft (click)
-Future Drafts (roll over)
-take your pick of how you want to see the picks
I agree, I wish there was an easier way to access this, but it's there.

Any help will be appreciated.
Thanks.
That change was a part of the phpbb forum software upgrade. It wasn't something we changed ourselves. We don't keep tabs on your notifications at all. Instead of manually deleting individual notifications, I believe the new method is to automatically delete them after 30 days.

What has changed that made the flow of conversation harder to follow?

Re: Forum Changes 2.0
In the old RealGM, a new tab/window would open every time we clicked on a link. After the updates, some links now open a new tab/window, some others open the target page on the same tab/window. This haphazard behaviour is most notable when clicking on links in the wiretap boxes. Would it be possible to go back to how it was? (Or, if not, to have a consistent behaviour?)

I've got "remember me" checked off but I've had to log back in pretty much every day. Anyone else?
