I can't believe SI has us losing 5 games, I have us losing 3. Still, they have us the #1 seed in NFC, but losing to Falcons in division game at Lambeau.

Going to predict a shocker and say Philly misses the playoffs. They lack size on defense, I think the blitz is going to bother Vick and I also don't trust Vick to stay healthy. I think it will be another testament as to why free agency in the NFL licks balls. Free agency is useful is small doses, but is not a way to put together a whole team.

I will also take the chance Stafford doesn't get crippled and predict the Lions make the playoffs.

NFC: Packers vs. Falcons
AFC: Patriots vs. Houston

The Owl: Packers vs. Patriots

The Winner: Patriots

MVP: Phillip Rivers
OPOY: Aaron Rodgers
DPOY: Ndamukong Suh

I see us going 11-5 or 12-4

The main reason i see it being very tough to finish either 12-4 or 13-3 is we don't play in a crappy division with a really bad team or two which is pretty much a guaranteed free 2-4 wins.

While i'm fairly certain that the Bears will regress quite a bit record wise because of a much tougher schedule, the new kickoff rule, and they caught breaks last year, their defense should still be tough. Mix in that Cutler is at least a solid QB and Forte is a high quality duel threat back, neither game vs the Bears will be an easy win.

Detroit only needs Stafford to stay healthy given their defense for them to be a team that could beat us at home or at their place.

Minnesota very likely will finish last and will have no chance to beat us at Lambeau, but with McNabb at QB instead of a rookie and the crowd noise that can be generated in the baggy, i just don't think that they'll be bad enough that they can't possibly give us a game there if we don't bury them early.

We also have games vs NO and at San Diego/Atlanta/Giants.

It would be hard to go through that schedule and only lose 2-4 games, especially if Rodgers and/or Matthews missed any games.

I was all about the Rams winning the West, but their schedule is absolutely brutal. Next year I guess.

NFC

West - 49ers - They suck, but the Rams will be in too big of a hole to climb out of I think. Even if they get up for their game against Philly in week 1, it gets ugly.

East - Eagles

North - Packers

South - Saints

WC - Falcons, Cowboys.

I think the Lions just miss the playoffs. Bears finish 3rd in the division, last of Luvie?

AFC
West - Chargers - No more insane TD:Int ratio for Cassell and the Chiefs. Decline not as much about Weiss' departure, but more about Cassell's overall talent level.

North - Steelers

East - Patriots

South - Texans - Pretty sure Arian would try to play on a broken leg as not to lose his spot. Their O is too good.

WC - Colts, Ravens

Who knows what the deal is with Manning, but I'll assume he plays eventually and the Colts earn a playoff spot. If he doesn't, Jets make it. Not a Jets backer though until their offense shows me something. Sanchez and Greene are very meh to me and their receivers are ancient (sans Holmes). I think they'll be drafting some offensive playmakers next year.

Super Bowl - I'll say Falcons over Pats. It's a tossup though, I can see any team from the NFC making it except for the 49ers.

Week 2: @Carolina - W
Week 3: @Chicago - W
Week 4: Denver - W
Week 5: @Atlanta - L - Revenge
Week 6: St. Louis - W
Week 7: @Minnesota - W
Week 8: Bye
Week 9: @San Diego - L
Week 10: Minnesota - W
Week 11: Tampa Bay - W
Week 12: @Detroit - L -
Week 13: @NYG - L
Week 14: Oakland - W
Week 15: @Kansas City - L - 1 of those 'didn't see a loss coming' games
Week 16: Chicago - W
Week 17: Detroit - W - Probably keeps lions out of playoffs. My guess.

Whomever I draft for my fantasy team or whatever team I'm betting on that particular week. :D
I watch every Packer game though since they're on and it's impossible to avoid. Got Stafford, Calvin, and the Lions D this year, so I guess I'll say them this year :)

I find it hard to predict the Packers this year. I think they have a great chance at a 14-2 dominance type year with a repeat Super Bowl appearance. The signs are all there. Rodgers appears to be in Joe Montana mode at the moment.

I just have a nagging concern on the offensive line holding together and adequately protecting Rodgers from another concussion. And if the line can't protect Rodgers we've got problems.

The other concern is the D-line depth. We are relying on Raji and Pickett playing a lot of downs at a healthy and high level.

If either or both of the lines can't hold up we'll have one of those 1998 type years where the team makes it to ten wins in what is a disappointing struggle.

But for now I'll go 14-2. We may have the best player on offense (Rodgers) and the best player on defense (Matthews) in the entire league.

I didn't do any AFC picks but I'll pick my SB match up quick

I'll go with the same match up I picked last season...Ravens vs Packers.
