Wow, the hate is strong in this one

I think the behind-the-back reverse dunk is the one I will most associate with Kobe.

This is Kobe we are talking...not Lebron.

According to your logic, Tim Duncan doesn't deserve any respect.

They both do it but Kobe is GOAT when it comes to complaining to refs and ignoring the game continuing. Kobe has all out tantrums, Lebron might get there though.

They both do it differently though. Kobe complains looking pissed off like he's about to kill someone. Lebron complains looking like he's about to cry.

Was the competition that bad at the time?

Bobby sura was awful. Ray allen, kobe bryant and michael finley were average i guess. Darvin ham got robbed, he had the best dunk in the competition, he just didn't sell it. I personally preferred chris carr's style over kobe's but people were crazy about the "east bay funk" at the time so... good for kobe.

As far as a signature dunk, it has to be the baseline reverse.

His signature dunk to me is his dunk against Sprewell & the commentary "w/ no regard for human life" that accompanied the dunk lol

His dunks from 02-08 were on par w/ MJ, Vince & Doc

Kobe's hangtime in his prime was so mean...just think he was 34 and still giving dunk of the year type plays 2 yrs ago when he was 16 yrs in, it's unbelievable

The baseline reverse, he had to be inventive on a lot of stuff once got in the restricted area because Shaq was parked in the paint most of the time. I've only seen probably McGrady do it other than Kobe.

Two posters trying way, way too hard.

Not that it really matters one way or the other, but of course Kobe has a signature dunk. As others have pointed out already, its the baseline reverse/windmill that he used to break out with regularity in his younger days. Much like Dominique's windmill or the Air Jordan pose, other players have tried vaguely similar things, but nobodies done it with the style Kobe had.

I would think the 360 also, but how lame is the kobe hating getting when we have weak troll attempts like this? Sad how people are forgetting or acting like they're forgetting how good the guy was.

That is his go-to dunk. He admittedly doesn't have hands quite big enough to palm the ball during dunks so has to cup it in his wrist like that.

Whether that would be his "signature" dunk, probably not since others have said his 360 and reverse and the dunks over people are more impressive.

COME TO THINK ABOUT DOES KOBE EVEN HAVE ANY SIGNATURE MOVES????

You must be young to be asking this question, Kobe was/is one of the best in game dunkers and has various dunks but the one that stands out are the 3 that were posted above.

When he had the mini fro i always thought his sig dunk was the one handed 360. Look it up on youtube and he has a bunch of those from back in the day.

Then as he got a bit older he switched it to the two handed 360 which was still nice.
