Michael Jordan- Game Winning shots..Stats?

In his famous commercial MJ said he was trusted to take 26 game winning shots and missed.

I've heard he made 25, but how is that defined, and how was he defining the 26 misses? Buzzer beaters of in the last 25 seconds?

Do we have any concrete stats on MJ buzzer beaters?

I believe a game winner is a go ahead bucket taken within the last 10 seconds of a Basketball game, or obviously a buzzer beater.

A few times it happened with the first shot of the game, everything else was stat padding.

I believe that commercial came out when Jordan was w/ the bulls in 97. At that time jordan was 16/42 then on game winners. 38%

Edit* its actually less than that if we take into account only 10 seconds or less. The list i saw included some with 20 seconds or more sometimes.

we know his game winners, we don't know what he meant when he said 'misses', and when exactly was that commercial. I think 97? buzzer beater misses? Misses with 10 seconds? 20 seconds?
