Spree, check out this Malaki Branham kid. He would be the perfect 2nd unit 2 guard, if both Evan is traded and if Grimes starts.

I love his game. He reminds me a little bit of Khris Middletown. I can see him rising into the top 8 by draft night.

Just a few of the guys i'm intrigued by:

Mathurin
Johnny Davis
Blake Wesley
Jaden Hardy
Dyson Daniels
Agbaji
Christian Braun
Mark Williams
EJ Liddell
Wendell Moore
Tari Eason
Beauchamp

All those guys really pique my interest and a lot of them fit the bill of a wing or big connector type which the Knicks have sorely lacked for a while now.

Kessler, Daniels, Wesley maybe Williams.

Sochan would be nice as a defensive 3/4, especially if we move Randle. Kennedy Chandler gets such little love here. Sure, he’s small, but he can shoot, pass, handle and actually run an offense. We should be all over that.

I'm hoping the Knicks draft someone disappointing to the fanbase and where there are at least 5 other players drafted afterwards who are clearly better.

There.

Now I'm aligned with how the Knicks operate. Low chance of disappointment.

They were sour. Because he comes off as an ass and can't shoot 3's. Calling him all sorts of things. I honestly don't remember a draft where the projected top 3 guys were hated more by more people than that 2020 draft. And all cause of the same old criteria (can't shoot 3's, comes off as a selfish ass). They don't want those types of players being cancers on a young team especially if they can't shoot 3's. So far sure looks like Edwards and Ball have done nothing but made their respective teams much better and themselves look like burgeoning stars/superstars in the making. Folks couldn't get pass the shooting and the personality.

wait, are we on an old man forum? where people are mad at kids for "not playing the game the right way"

I'm an old man actually compared to most (except Wingo) lol. At the end of the day, I'll take an **** that can help my team win over a boyscout that can't move the needle any day. Some of the greatest dynasties in NBA history of chuck full of a-holes and arrogant pricks. Now by no means am I discounting the ability to shoot 3's as an important skill to have but you don't need every player to be able to shoot 3's. While it's real nice if your PG can shoot 3's it's much more important for them to be able to do the traditional point guard things really really really well. That's the stuff that point guards have always been needing to do since basketball was invented well before the 3 pointer was the flavor of the day. Especially for a low talent, limited ball handling/passing team like the Knicks that rely on their PF to be their PG. How he comes off I couldn't care less about IF he can help make my team better.

I'm liking Dyson Daniels. With his size and defensive ability, there is even a chance he would get PT. Unfortunately, I don't see them picking him unless they somehow move off a number of vets. He might not even be there at 11.

I like Sochan, Kendall, and Dyson the most for guys who should be in the knicks range. Though honestly, I respect this FO regime drafting enough I am open to whomever they draft.

This is a pretty good class comp where there were questions about the guys at the top of the draft and how good they would actually be, but the rest of the draft/lottery was littered with easily projectable role players w/ some decent upside and some risky star upside guys

She would be the best pure point guard on this team if she were a Knick :o :o :o :o :o

And technically no rule against the Knicks signing a female basketball player.

Yeah I could see it. Banchero or Jabari being Tatum or Josh Jackson, Chet being Fultz, and Ivey being the De’aron Fox. Even the fact Duren is compared to Bam and I think he is the safest pick in this whole draft.

I rock with Paige Heavy she get busy UCONN was my Favorite along with South Carolina. I actually watch alot of Womens College Ball. Its a much better product than the WNBA which I never watch.

My favorite Player is Ashley Owusu I love here game. There is no young guard on the Knicks with this good of a handle and flair :noway:

On another note I was watching this “locked on Knicks” video that was okay… but they brought up a good point. The Knicks might use trade capitol to move “up” in the draft to get someone. Lee constantly are aware they have little chance at guys like Mathurin, or Ivey…. But the Knicks have the assets to package for a deal. Maybe they could move up to 6 or 7 in this draft if someone they like is there.

Fun stats from the last 20 years:

• Years RealGM poster predicted Knicks trading into top of draft: 20/20 (100%)

• Years Knicks traded up: 0/20 (O%)
