2014-15 Regular Season Standings Prediction Contest

THE RULES

ENTRY

Can't win if you don't play! You also can't win if you play too late. Qualified entries will:
1) give the number of wins in the upcoming regular season for all 30 teams. Values must be from 0 to 82.
2) the last edit time on the entry must be before 5pm Pacific, 8pm Eastern, Tuesday, October 28, 2014.
3) entries must be in the format given in the second post of the thread. The easy way is to
just quote that post and change the win values to your own. (example win values are from last season)
4) if for some reason you enter multiple times, only the last valid entry counts.

SCORING

1) points are bad. you will receive one point for each difference between actual wins and predicted
wins for a team greater than two. by that i mean you can be exactly on, one off, or two off for a
team and receive no points. If you are 3 off you get one point. If you are 4 off you get two points, etc.
2) Least points wins.
3) If there is a tie, it is broken by the same scoring method only with no 2 win forgiveness. ie,
a point for each win you are off.
4) If there is still a tie, the final edit time of the submission breaks the tie: whoever posted/edited
their final entry the earliest wins the tie.

A consequence of the scoring rules is that an entry that is two off on every single team will beat
an entry that is exactly on for every single team but two, but is 3 off for those other two teams.
The first entry described would have a score of zero and the second entry would have a score of two,
and lower score wins. The reason I'm scoring it this way is that I think getting every team close
should outweigh getting a bunch of teams exact.

PRIZE

I will change my avatar to that of the winner's favorite nba team for the month of June 2015. Even if it's the Lakers. (Winner doesn't pick the avy, just the team).
