Phoenix would actually be a great fit for Randle. Has 2 guys that handle most of the playmaking and can get him open looks. He would be a perfect #3 to Booker and CP3.

they're gonna want a center back and the double sign and trade is close to impossible. and the few teams with cap room are not gonna max him. i think he might end up in atl too. they got guys they want/could trade in collins, capela that could work for the suns.

Atl could make sense, with Capela to the Suns if they can make it work

They can still use a PF. Like they said, they can sign multiple Centers that can do what Ayton does

Randle isn't making the max like Ayton is demanding.

He’s making a lot though plus has a trade kicker. I would love if Phoenix takes him but dont think they would.

there would have to be a ton of other moving parts and additional salary that the knicks would have to open up and the suns would have to send us.

A straight up Randle/Ayton S&T wouldn't work. Just like a Randle/Brunson S&T wouldn't work because Brunson/Ayton base would get to Randles level. Fournier would fit in that scenario.

But yes technically it can still happen if we clear enough room to take on Crowder + Saric or something like that.

Walker Kessler/Daniel Gafford/Adem Bona
Nikola Jokic/Santi Aldama/Isaiah Stewart
Aaron Nesmith/Josh Hart/Jaime Jaquez

Yes Fournier is a big part. It was something we discussed about last night

Starting to feel like 2010 FA again. Day before “The Decision”, all signs started pointing Lebron to NY. Then the next day, he signed with Miami

Phoenix is going to do whatever they can to win before the window closes on them with Paul's retirement and Booker leaving. They have 2 chances left.

So base year compensation still applies? Outgoing salary counts as half?

Randles not it though. They would be better off just keeping Ayton. The way the Suns play and fit together, Randle is the opposite. He would take the team down a notch

I wonder if a Randle + Rose S&T for Ayton could work for PHX. They don't commmit to as much long-term salary and they get 2 guys who could give them a boost against teams like Dallas and GSW. PHX's bench was awful against Dallas.

Sign and trade for Brunson, full MLE for Harenstein it seems like.
