Can't win them all, Sean Marks fought the good fight and will likely recover

Myrie's hijinks will be the highlight of this excursion, but Sean Marks deserves his flowers for putting in work tbh

It was about money and his boy Harden. Lol at "that nonsense". So he'd much rather deal with the nonsense of a team he just beat in the 2nd round and his buddy who is a known elimination game choker? Some of you just twists yourselves into knots. The money was better so he left. Simple
lets not forget that he also witnessed some heat infighting between jimmy and the coach. believe it or not all those things matters too.

the fact that he is leaving for just one mil more? tell us what his mentality about THE heat lies.

this team should have beaten boston. but players named NOT jimmy buttler magically disappeared from an offensive standpoint. that 3rd game was pretty embarrassing to watch. SHOULD HAVE NOT HAPPEN BUT SADLY IT DID

In todays NBA, he honestly could. Point 5.

If Dray can be a defacto-5 on a winner then so could he, underrated defensive player tbh

How is he underrated defensively? He's been crowned since he's been drafted. He never improved offensively so he;s been showered with all-defense acclaim since entering the league. He's an elite defender. But, he's also a mental midget and shies away from defending bigs. He's the anti-Draymond in that regard.

I haven't heard that criticism, of him not wanting to defend bigs. Everything else I understand

Those things witnessed are probably seen whenever the team practices. It's the reason why Butler wanted to be in Miami.

I don’t think he fits our system but I wonder if Ayton holds any value to the Heat?

Heat are already bringing back Crowder allegedly

Would be interesting if Miami decided to bring in both and only gave up the likes of Herro and Lowry, and then moved Herro elsewhere with Robinson’s contract.

Cmon_Son-_- wrote:Ain't gonna lie Ben is probably better lol The world is down on him because he doesn't shoot(sounds like a certain player on this roster) but he's a proven star. Losing Bam and netting those 2 would be a steal if it was on the table lol

Ben Simmons solely gets the benefit of extra hype due to being a top pick. Ben is a Bam Adebayo that is (1) weaker; (2) shorter wingspan; (3) more of a 1-4 defender than the 1-5 defender that Bam is; (4) has no discernable offensive ability if he's not ball dominant (and your team isn't winning sh*t if Ben is the main option).

So you're either forcing a point Winslow scenario to cater to Ben Simmons on offense or having a subpar screener that doesn't know how to play off ball as a big man or shoot.

You're showing your ass on this

EDIT: And that's not even getting into the attitude difference (both internally with team and externally around the NBA)

Narrative plays a role with Ben. He's played with one of highest Usg players of all time. In fact the Ben Simmons has had a lower USG% in his last 3 seasons than Bam's. They're at worse similar players where as Bam score mores Ben is a much better playmaker. He has a Career 34% Ast% which is elite.

The attitude part is concerning but the Sixers org is a **** show. Ben was fine a few years ago and now he's damaged goods.
I'm not letting a Ben/Bam swap get in the way of getting an all time great if it was on the table.

I just don't see what Ben Simmons provides an offense when he's not the primary ballhandler. And I don't see most any real contending team winning with Simmons as the primary ballhandler because it limits any other prime scorer from being able to create. It's the whole reason why Justise Winslow (poor man's Simmons) can't find success in the NBA. He's not complete enough at his best offensive trait to demand the ball control and have it result in a quality offense. If Simmons actually took to playing big, I could see the Draymond stuff.

Full disclosure: Ben Simmons is my least favorite player in the NBA (and has been for years)

Say what you want about Bamba but that’s a cheap deal. That’s a big miss especially since we just lost PJ

The infighting where he was laughing about it on the court? PJ wanted all Miami could offer and they said no. Meanwhile Philly is offering the most that they could to him. He took their offer. Money, sign of respect. He didn't leave because of a fight when that team recovered to make it to game 7. They won game 3 you must be thinking of a different game.

We didn’t have the money to give him. We signed Dipo with bird rights and only have 6.7 tax payer MLE. We are working the trade market
