I really don't think so - just don't discuss numbers and specifics. Just because a father and son work in the NBA for separate teams does not mean that they can't discuss the son's career and what he wants to do going forward.
It's definitely a loophole and an advantage, but it's also common sense. They're literally family, and as long as they weren't hashing out the legal terms and coming to official agreements, I don't believe there's anything enforceable regarding Jalen and Rick (or even Leon, honestly - he's been a confidant and mentor for Jalen's entire life).
Same goes for Leon and his son, who is Brunson's agent.
