Conley / Patty
Curry / O'Neale
Simmons / Harris
KD / Warren
Poeltl / Claxton
that's a much improved defensive team. could probably use another bigger stretch wing, but lot's of shooting around KD and Simmons.
What KD does not realize is Harden was a better fit with him when Kyrie was out. They went 21-9 and first in the East; Kyrie's return and the Covid protocols/Injuries messed everything up. But I would much rather have kept Harden than Kyrie and hindsight shows that very well. The only issue they had was the defensive minded players they had were awful shooters or atleast.....Unreliable. Bembry,Johnson and Carter were all trash offensively but they still managed to own the 1 seed. Harden sacrificed for KD's ISO play.... Two players going ISO does not work anymore, hence why Harden was smart enough to become a facilitator and score when needed. I am all for a Kyrie to LA trade and getting Indy involved if we somehow land Hield/Turner out of it.
