That is one way to look at it. Another is our third string is by and large the 2nd string of a playoff team from last year. You can slight your former players all you like, but as veteran bench depth, it is hard to complain. Though personally I did not want Rivers because we are already quite deep at SG and need more PGs, but that is nothing to do with his quality, just his fit.

If it was a joke it would not have been proceeded by calling Forbes and Rivers scrubs. There is a level of hostility I don’t feel is warranted. Either way, I look forward to matchups between a healthy Nuggets and new Wolves teams. If you guys acquire former wolves you are of course always welcome to ask our community about them. One of the perks of having a 30 board community (one for every team,) is that option being available. I would just request in the future you try and be a little nicer in your approach, but that is just me and my opinion.

First, this is a NUGGETS forum, not a T-pups forum. Second, the joke was about TC, had NOTHING to do with my opinion about Forbes or Rivers, who, having watched both (which you obviously haven't since you came over here clamoring about rather than just doing the research yourself) stands. Your questions were answered respectfully, yet you seem to want to continue to talk T-pups here which is disrespectful being it is a Nuggets forum as stated IMO. Take that as MY opinion.

Fair. I apologize for any offense caused by my discussion of the Wolves. I came here for perspective beyond the stats that usually comes from people watching the games. I don’t have league pass and have not seen many recent Nuggets games. I do appreciate the amount of useful information you guys provided, and I again invite you guys to seek out our board should the shoe be on the other foot.

The issue isn't that it is the Twolves, it is that you are wanting detailed scouting reports to guys that none of us were all that sad to see replaced. Despite shooting 41% on 3s, Forbes was way to streaky to count on as a spot shooter and his all around game is terrible. Rivers may work as hard as anybody on the court, but he is not particularly good at any of it. Cousins was a solid backup Center that reportedly wanted a pay raise and guaranteed minutes, while being totally ineffective in some matchups not to mention the foul/technical foul calls that seemed like it put us into foul trouble early in the 2nd and 4th in every damn game. As I said if you are depending on Nuggets castaways to do more in Minny than we asked of them last year than you are in trouble. They are all limited players at this point that can play a role, but are not good enough to be guaranteed minute rotation players anymore. To us it is like going to the Twolves board and asking 100 questions about Josh Okogie, Jake Layman, and Greg Monroe, no Twolves fan is going to care enough to bother with every **** detail about their game.

The point is fair, but the players did get actual time with you guys. Plus I am more asking for a couple sentence summary rather than a detailed scouting report. That said, I respect your position and apologize if the questions come off as annoying. This is a very exciting year for both our teams and I just really want to learn as much as I can about the new faces being brought in.
