Don't get much close than that. Cade could have easily been closer to that 18 PPG as well if it wasn't for his early injury but overall spot on.
Nice. What are your predictions for this year's team?
The top two scorers in Cade and Bey are pretty easy to predict, I'd put Cade at 23 and Bey at 18. The third scorer is really completely up in the air at the moment. Best case is likely for it to be Ivey, but a lot of that will depend on whether or not he can catch and shoot passes from Cade well. I also think Stewart could be a dark horse candidate for third because he will set a ton of picks and pop to that three point line. It's just a matter of how much the defense decides to take it away if he starts to get known for hitting those. In reality 3rd could be Ivey, Stewart, Olynyk, Livers, Bagley, Burks or even Diallo who was a high usage and point per minute scorer off the bench last season... and he's in a contract year. Lots of guys I could see averaging between 12 and 15 a game if they are given a chance. Part of that equation is who ends up being the #1 bench option.
The big thing about Cade at 23 PPG is just him upping his TS% and lowering his TOs a bit from his post all-star numbers from last year and he's right there. But Cade also might defer a bit more if his teammates are better at making shots this year.... so in reality I could see Cade being 23P/6R/6A or I could see him being 20P/6R/8A.
