Weirdly if you're down for trading for a generic star, there is no requirement to list out 6 of them with specific plans to each in order to have a valid idea. But less than a star? Must be realistic, must have detailed plan, must list alternative options, single one option is unrealistic than the entire approach as applied to all potential options is incomprehensible.

My parting sentiment is why does that one approach have a heightened standard of effort than the others? Again, none of your options named players or options. The litmus test only applies to the crazy idea of ONLY trading multiple picks for a proven player while also focusing on internal development. Not exactly an extremely esoteric approach that is difficult to quantity or understand,.
