This summer, Spain:
Euro MEN -> gold
Euro Under20 MEN -> gold
Euro Under20 WOMEN -> gold
Euro U18 M -> gold
Euro U18 W -> silver
World Cup U17 M -> silver
WC U17 W-> silver
Euro U16 M -> silver
Euro U16 W -> silver
9 competitions, 9 finals
We have won 6 major competitions this century.
And there is also Sabonis, Doncic, Porzingis and lots of foreign players that arrived to Spain at a young age.
In FIBA U20 European Championship, Spain has won 16 medals. The second ones are France and Lithuania with 7 medals.
So, I´m sorry what Spain is doing better than anyone else in Europe.
Yea truly impressive summer for Spanish basketball. I wonder how long it will take for Spain to produce another Spanish top end talent player or NBA starter. Rubio was the last one and probably would have been better had it not been for injuries.
Santi Aldama if stupid grizzlies start playing him or TRADE him somwhere where they pkay him. Bo cruz deserves better roles that he has had and si does his bro.
Both Hernangomezs have played on multiple teams. I feel as though Juancho is definitely worthy of more minutes than he has been getting so far, but now he's on the raptors who have Barnes, Young, Porter, Anunoby and Siakam playing his positions. But as long as he can show that he's as good on defense as those other players, I'm sure he can get minutes.
And, yea, would be great to see Aldama on a team like the Rockets or Jazz so that he can get playing time. Seeing as though Adams was kind of unplayable in the POs, maybe the Grizz will include Aldama in the rotation more so that they have another playoff big.
So many people who attain the heights of power in this culture—celebrities, for instance—have to make a show of false humility and modesty, as if they got as far as they did by accident and not by ego or ambition.
