I'd venture to say the emotion is more of 'embarrassment'. The entanglements seem to organized and I've seen such organization before in lifestyle circles. I think the parties that may have the biggest problem with this situation are the kids and the Celtic organization.
I get this entire thing is speculation, but if this was all copesthetic for the parties involved, I dont see this becoming a major storyline like this. This most definitely has the feel of some really pissed off people who want him gone and the work environment is now shot because of what happened. I dont see that being the situation if everyone involved was cool with it.
Agreed that it's speculation at this point. You may have a point about one of the parties not 'going with the program'. I just find it hard to believe that any of the principal players in this drama had no idea of what was going on. I find it more likely that a '3rd party' decided to blow the whistle, which is very common in workplace grievances.
Im just looking at what is the more likely scenario.
Ime is messing around with an executives wife and the executive is cool with it. Someone else finds out and reports it and now Ime may lose his job or at minimum be suspended for a very long time.
or
Ime is messing around with an executive's wife and the executive finds out and isnt cool with it. Is beyond pissed off and reports it. Now the Celtics have a work environment which is extremely toxic and dysfunctional.
I just feel like scenario #2 is the most likely scenario. That to me fits what is being reported about what the Celtics organization is currently talking about. There is talks of Ime resigning, suspending him for a year or flat out firing him. To me that sounds more than a relationship everyone is cool about but maybe viewed as kind of embarrassing. And it sounds like the Celtics organization knows they have a very toxic situation on hand and are trying to figure out if him being away for a year will be enough for it all to die down, or if he needs to go for good. Just seems to fit scenario #2 more in my opinion.
