Not all of our youth are worth investment though. Obi is actually one of those who needs that.. and I’m not even a Randle hater. But, at some point we’ll have to choose. Maybe not this year, but at some point.

Randle made All-NBA and they paid him. They thought they could build on the success of 2020-21 and they added Fournier. Thibs is on the ground trying to do the best that he can with what he was given.

Nah I been to Miami not Oakland. Been to parts of cali tho its beautiful. I was always a NY head nowadays that gets less n less every year

I feel like if u feel like u THE best that u are THAT **** and u pass on taking on the challenge of the world's most famous arena to go to Cleveland or some other corny place where the lights ain't as bright.... I'll always hate LeBron for 2010. He had me convinced he was coming here. Having the 'Decision' in our backyard was such a disrespectful thing to do too. But looking back at it 12 years later, he made the right decision for himself. Hard to turn down sunny Miami and getting to play with Wade and for a genius and winner like Pat the Rat. I still think those cHeat rings are kind of weak but that Cleveland ring shines as bright as any ring in NBA history imho.

I don't think history will look too kindly to KD. Like 20-30 years from, this era will be remembered mostly for Curry and Giannis. KD will be an afterthought HOFer who took the easy way out. Now of course it can change if he wins a title this year but I don't see how kookie Kyrie not going crazy an entire season.

But the lesson learned? NYC is not for everyone.

I don't think there is any way we do not make a major midseason trade. This is not the roster that will finish the season.

You also need floor spacing and Fournier's the best shooter on the team.

Randle creates some issues because he's not an off-ball player and he puts a ceiling on a team as an on-ball player, but he's still arguably the most talented player on the roster after Derrick Rose. Sorry but any head coach would be invested in the revitalization of one of his best players just a year prior - and there's no doubt that's who Randle was in 2020-21.

The team has some talent but just lacks talent overall to be truly relevant. There's no magical formula within this roster. We just need to accept this.

It all starts at the top.

Besides, Grimes can't earn a starting spot if he's always hurt.
