He must be damn good to be in their heads like that. Going to be a long 82 game season, but damn we got some great young players other fanbases wish they had.
Also, Bogdan was such a great trade. My God. We gave up nothing for him and he immediately steps in and goes 6/10 from 3.
Cade is a different type of player. He is team first, all the way. He understands game management, and game flow. He easily racked up 10 assists, and trusted his teammate to ice the game last night, knowing how hard Stewart has worked on that very shot.
That is leadership, through, and through. The way he managed the game, and played, reminded me of another player I have never compared him to, and that is Chris Paul. I know it sounds odd, but the parallels are there.
True floor leadership is insanely difficult to come by in the NBA.
Meh how he started and lead the team with his lazy play wasn't impressive. Felt like the bench with Joseph and Killian (Duren too) set the pace for the game and the starters followed.

Cade talked about how he lets the game come to him, and that he needed time to figure out the new players, and how they fit in around him.
What you see as "lazy play", he describes as learning, and not rushing anything, and I absolutely see that.
His game leadership after a sloppy start, was on point.
