Saw the 1st six minutes.
Didn’t know it was the bulk of mitchs contributions.
So dude chill, you out here defending 4 points 2 Rebs 5 fouls .

It’s business as usual for your boy Mitch, basically 4 on 5,
His backup had to play 3x the minutes.
Mitch should be giving Hart some his paycheck for yesterdays game .
Stop with mediocrity condoning .
Nobody thinks what Mitch did yesterday was ok but You.

U wanna give some insight on what exactly would be acceptable for Mitch in your eyes? Bc all u do is look at the stat sheet, particularly points n rebounds.

Defense means nothing I guess that's why u love Isiah bc he can't defend anyone and gets abused on the boards. His strength is shooting n passing not defense n rebounding

No I don’t only use stat sheet .
Since I only saw a part of the game I can’t go into detail
But the discrepancy in production speaks for itself .

To me Mitch’s contributions on defense have been vastly overrated as he is a one dimensional defender (rim protector )
while last season showed the defense performed better with him off the floors, which is unheard of for a supposed ‘defensive’ anchor.

The bar wasnt particularly high for Mitch back then.
What’s serviceable for a 16M per year player opens up a bunch of semantics. Sorry , I know words like that aren’t cool in the ‘hood’

Last night for example , he was a -7.
Mitch can score well in metrics because he is efficient on low volume .
But the team metrics have not been released yet , I would like to see him have
1. Positive +\- as a starter ( for at least once in his career)
2. Improve the defense in his minutes

Those are my main wants for contributions to actually be a positive on court influence on the team .

You have been around long enough to tell the difference between opinion and fact, Begley is giving his opinion. Sure it's based on the fact that the Knicks already paid guys like Randle, RJ, Brunson and Mitch so it stands to reason they might not be in a position to pay both Obi and IQ but it still is just his opinion.

to begin with i didn't say it was fact or opinion. i said that he said it. so lighten up francis.

but also...maybe. maybe not. maybe he has more info but he can't release it publicly. who knows.

and i have been here a long time. i remember when nobody liked you....and they still don't :D

 I used to like Mitch Hedberg...

There's no way they can keep all these guys and the picks.

Spoiler:
Especially if they keep playing like dog ****

Happy for Cam, dude is way too talented to be banished to deep bench. I’m glad he had that breakout game and show what he can do. He really played well on both sides of the ball!

Iron Jimmit

Welcome to the Knicks forum, where:

Fans are strongly discouraged from being fans on a sports fan forum.

Fan

[Etymology]

Merriam-Webster, the Oxford dictionary and other sources define "fan" as a shortened version of the word fanatic. Fanatic itself, introduced into English around 1550, means "marked by excessive enthusiasm and often intense uncritical devotion". It comes from the Modern Latin fanaticus, meaning "insanely but divinely inspired".[1] The word originally pertained to a temple or sacred place [Latin fanum, poetic English fane]. The modern sense of "extremely zealous" dates from around 1647; the use of fanatic as a noun dates from 1650.

And:

The gimmick of being a hater is the celebrated new trend. Sad. :nonono:

hater
[ hey-ter ]

noun

Informal. a person who thrives on showing hate toward, criticizing, or belittling other people or things, usually unfairly:
"The guy is just a hater, looking for a fight."

First stop ... you are rooting for a franchise that

Gave up draft compensation for Scott Perry
Gave up draft compensation to dump negative value contracts that they signed and didn't fire any front office person involved

I don't got no problem w anyone talking about any topic they want, if they say dumb **** I will just as quickly call them out on it.

I'm realizing u can't win a fight w an idiot. There's no middle ground w someone that thinks someone had a terrible game going 2 for 3 in 23 minutes where the refs was quick to blow the whistle.

Did Mitch have a good game of course not he only played 13 **** minutes. He had some good defense, one bad foul, the rest was subtle contact n the refs hard-on for Ja.

mitch is a very good body out there in the middle securing rebounds hindering shots and we dont have anybody else on the roster like that. The ticky tacky fouls are a real killer though; has been a deadly thorn on the knicks side for sooooooo many years.

It was hilarious seeing dray literally being an offensive lineman in a playoff game and refs swallow their whistle.

Oh...and you apparently have too much invested in forum reputations if you're keeping track of 'likes'..again, it seems you need to lighten up.
If you'd rather see your team fail so you can be right
...you are a fan of your opinion not the team.

10 games last year he had like yesterday. As much fouls as points. But you mad at me not him .
