Kuzma is a close second, crazy play and all. He had a good scoring game. Avidja might’ve been my POG if he played more minutes because he sure was effective when he was in. I think we’ll see better games from Wright but wow does he cover the floor. He’s like a pinball, covering everybody on the other team.

He as tasked with being a swiss army knife on defense, led the team in rebounds with 10, second in assists with 4 (with only 1 TO), to go along with a block and a steal, and the second best team +/-. Also made both his threes despite largely being ignored by Beal, Kuzma, and Porzingis. We won this game because of defense, that can't be ignored, not because Beal made a very difficult shot.

FWIW, Deni actually finished with the highest BPM on the team. And the DRtg numbers (which I generally don't trust that much) indicate that Deni and Wright were really getting it done on D:
Deni pulled down nearly half of all available defensive rebounds when he was on the court.

That's what my eyes were telling me. He was just making a big impact when he was out there in only 23 minutes. If he can shoot 36+% from three, he is going to be a really good player.
