Shouldn't getting the W rank way higher on the priority list than massaging Westbrook's ego. Lakers were on such a roll late 3rd and the entire 4th before Ham put WB back in. We repeatedly saw Vogel make this blunder last season and Ham does the exact same **** after saying the complete opposite when he got hired.

This could be something like a 1-10 start. Even the Jazz are actually looking competent.

I have absolutely no idea why it keeps happening. Does Jeanie put a gun to their head and force them to play Westbrook? With his nonexistent basketball IQ dude is the last guy you want on the court in crunch time. Ham does some good things and he’s limited in what he can do by this trash roster, but playing Westbrook in these moments is completely inexcusable and 100% on him.

This current roster won't win 40 games

At least LeBron’s stat line was nice. 31 points closer to passing Kareem.

This is why I say you might as well send Russ home. Never mind that he doesn't do anything on-ball that can't be done way better by even this version of LeBron, and off-ball he's completely useless. The real problem is that he's Russell Westbrook so he has to be treated like he's still a star. Like who gives a **** if he isn't happy with his role at this point?

Lakers have actually played very well defensively and in most aspects of the game except shooting. Even if they were slightly below average instead of the worst three point shooting team in the pace and space era, they’d be quite good.

Beverly’s defense has been a real positive force out there. He’s +14 over the last two games. Lillard is a difficult cover of course.

Up 98-90, Westbrook comes back and the offense and defense go to hell. 4-26 in his last two games.

Hopefully the shooting gets at least to 35%, but yeah at this point they need a Westbrook trade as soon as possible

Just send his ass home, at least as soon as Schroder is back. It's not like his trade value is going to get any lower.

Agreed, even if they shot at 25% from 3 then they win the last 2 games.
This is a good time to bet on the Lakers longterm, they are underperforming from outlier poor 3 shooting only.

Defense looks great and team is getting a ton of open shots. Westbrook probably shouldn't close out games unless he's shown to be part of the reason Lakers are winning.

Trade Lebron and AD at this point and just blow It up.

This is a shameful way to end LeBron”s career

Rob should be sacked in the morning
Reggie Jackson is amazing and a killer in the clutch that's all.

I feel like the Lakers extending Westbrook is more likely than them trading him or sending him home.

The amazing thing is that they don’t even have many great defenders:

—James, AD, and Bev are plus defenders
—Toscano looks like a plus so far, Reaves can be a plus, Brown can be a plus or neutral
—Walker is a negative, Nunn is a negative and has been extremely **** on both ends, Westbrook is a negative, Jones is neutral relative to position, Ryan is a negative

At 98-90 and Westbrook riding the bench, lakers would have had the #1 DRtg after three games with A hodgepodge of players.

On another team with spacing, looks like LeBron could still score 30 a game. I don’t know—a trade might really unlock some, things as it’s taken historically poor shooting (25/118), to get to 0-3.

Nah but keeping his expiring is more likely than trading him

By the time Rob and Jeanie get off their ass and try to make a trade, the team will be the 11th seed and 8 games out of the playoffs, then we'll be talking about is it even worth it to make a trade at that point.

Pelicans are gonna get a top 5 pick in the draft this year from the Lakers. Absolutely incredible

LeBron”s move to La basically cost him the Goat race.

As if he goes to the 76ers instead he is probably now sitting on 5 to 6 rings with 11 or 12 finals appearances.
