It's all for naught if the production doesn't translate into wins.
Everyone settle down. 3 games into the season.

Where's the thread with people swearing up and down he's just a top 30 player and not a first option?

Re: Pascal is on the brink of SUPERSTARDOM...
I think Siakam has turned to corner on being a #1 option. Why you may ask well look at what he's been able to do to a defense. Before he would be trying to process what the defense will do next when he makes a move. We saw this during the 2020-2021 season. Also when he started to be a better playmaker. Now he's manipulating defenses, making them try to double him since he can see 3 steps ahead and make the read he knows is coming.
Kyrie said it after the Brooklyn game. We're going to see more of him flirting with triple doubles throughout the year because he can manipulate a defense. That's what separates star players from solid players.

We will need to acquire a Batman or hopefully we develop one in Barnes sooner rather than later.
His play might be great enough for the Raps to actually move him for a #1 option (KD). The team has enough players that can play the #2 or #3 roles in FVV, Barnes and OG.
Still waiting on the eventual blow up of the Nets. It is coming....
The more PS increases his value, the less draft capital the Raps would need to move in a deal of PS & GTJ for KD and Curry.

Big facts. Very shameless.

That would require epic improvements from two starters.. Trent and OG...
Pascal has more than done his part....
Exactly. Those two have to step it up big time.

And OG and Trent don’t need to do much to step it up. All they gotta do is stop wasting possessions with horrible shot selection.
not strong, only aggresive cuz the power ain't directed/ that's why, we are subjected to the will of the oppressive

good point actually.
Thats why Curry came out victorious in the end and Tatum has 0 rings.
also why we have our first ring, because Kawhi was better than Steph in 2019

Re: Pascal is on the brink of SUPERSTARDOM...
The only thing lacking from Pascal for me that is preventing him from being a superstar is he doesn't impose his will and doesn't hit timely shots consistently.
He is fantastic at working within the flow of the game, finding pockets to exploit. But when it comes down to a critical moment, when we need a point desperately, he has never been consistently able to impose his will or get a clutch and timely bucket. On top of that, he doesn't always DEMAND the ball in these moments. He's okay being a spectator at times.
That being said he's surpassed all my expectations seeing how good he is now. I see him as an upper-echelon all-star, but not a superstar

These are MVP numbers folks. People laughed at this man when he said he wants to be a top 5 player. I can easily see him finishing the season as a top 10 player in the league.Spoiler:
I didn't laugh, but I had concerns. Would he and Fred become Kyle and DeMar in that no one else would get the ball? JV fighting in the post to achieve advantage and a clear pass path? Toss it to DeMar. Rinse and repeat.
I am happy to see that this is not the case.

Most people are capable of realizing one player does not make or break wins. If we continue to lose with Siakam putting up 28/10/7 it won't be because of Siakam.

Reality is that if the Raptors win and Siakam puts up numbers, that top 5/superstardom/elite talk is justified.
If not, then it's just the Raps real GM board doing Raps real GM board things.
We don't need to deep it too much.

I am not sure Kawhi was better. I am not even sure Siakam was better than Draymond. However, the rest of our roster destroyed Golden State.
Lowry outplayed Draymond, and then FVV/Ibaka/Gasol easily outplayed Iggy/Cousins/Looney. Even Danny Green who played like **** was still better than a lot of the GS rotation.
We won that finals because we had 7 dudes who were legit starter material. Golden State had 3.

If Siakam puts up 28/10/7 on 58.5TS% IDC If we win 25 games or 65 games - it would not change Siakam's abilities. It is just ridiculous to suggest a player is better or worse based on the performance of his teammates.

Someone better inform a certain poster that all these folks are just aliases of us 4 delusional homers. We wouldn’t want to upset the reality they’ve constructed.
For sure. I can’t believe some people think 25/10/7 on great percentages and great defense doesn’t warrant top 10 consideration.
I’ve never seen a fan base disrespect their own players as much as ours does. Lol.

This is why we saw Demar in MVP convo last year, he kept hitting a string of game winning clutch shots to compliment his high scoring.
We have yet to see this consistently from Pascal. I hope he cleans up his FT shooting too.
