I honestly don't know who's worse right now.. Lowry or Westbrook.
On one hand, at least Lowry can take charges.. on the other hand, at least Russ' can throw a proper alley-oop pass.
Sigh..

You seem to really press on Mr. Adebayo is he your favorite player?
3rd favorite, I just know an elite talent when I see it and we’re not maximizing it. He’s being wasted being used getting everyone else open looks and has been for years now. Leads the league in screen assists. He needs to be a scoring focal point.
Oh yeah he's definitely an elite talent, athletically especially. He's definitely a scoring focal point when needed. Bams attitude and motor impress me big time.

Precious has been subpar but this performance was pretty good tonight. Maybe he will turn it around now. His shooting is questionable.

Spo would have never played Precious the way Toronto is. He never even tried to play him with Bam
Bam in Toronto would be all nba, he’s neutered here
Let's trade him for Durant

They are first and second year players so I don't think it'll really impact anything because we have a good track record for projects. However, Yurt was mismanaged and Jovic will probably be mismanaged too.
Watching that game led me to one conclusion: A lineup of Dragic, Herro, Butler, Precious, and Bam would be better than the starting lineup we currently have. Having said that, it's still early enough to fix things. We need to run a lineup with height, which means Bam at the 4 and Yurt at the 5. Dwight Howard isn't on any team. I know his personality is hard to navigate, but he can be effective off the bench for spot minutes. We are position-less enough as a team that a little bit of height changes us completely.
This loss tonight is on Spo. Inserting Highsmith in the game killed the run we were making. Duncan was carrying us for that stretch and he takes him out for Max. Jimmy was on the bench for way too long in the 4th...he should have called a time out to get him in. Poor coaching and decision making all around.
It's a shame Tyler had all those turnovers in the 4th. He was having a really nice game.
Bam is just not the focal point I was hoping he would be so far.
Duncan is on the verge of being benched all season or regaining his minutes. I have faith that he will come back and have a good season, but he needs to be able to stay on the court for more than 50 minutes.
I was against the Lowry signing, but at this point it is what it is. We are wasting Jimmy's prime with poor decision making and contracts. It's still early, but they have work to do.

You could make the argument right now that Dragic is a better player than Lowry. Add Precious into the mix and it's a no brainer.
We gave Kyle the contract that he earned in Toronto.

Gotta learn to live with regrets lol.

What did everyone expect? Guard guarding centers and everyone playing one to two positions higher than they are supposed to is Spo's calling card. Ever he has been on his small balls boner, that has just been the standard. It's what Spo does year after year. Even Jovic was a 3 and Spo immediately threw him into center in the preseason. Honestly if Spo starts Yurt and Bam he'd bench Yurt after 3 minutes. The only reason he'd start him is to get Riley off his ass. And would pull him at the very first error and replace him with Gabe. Let's not fool ourselves.
Granted right now Yurt is hurt and Jovic is suspended. But then again I'd wager if jovic was not suspended he still wouldn't have played him. It's just what Spo does.
Honestly think back at all the prior seasons and try to recall anytime Spo has made an adjustment that ends up working out ...... it's never because he had a sudden change of heart and said you know what I'm going to do what has been obvious to everyone else. It's because he has had no other option because everyone else is injured. All adjustments ever made is because his hand is forced and is left with no other option. "DoN't LeT Go Of ThE RoPe".
It's a travesty that they looked at this roster and said "you know what would be really good? 6'4/6'5 Caleb at the 4". That probably made Spo hard as a rock. Probably has another baby otw right after he got worked up with his dream.

Yep Spo is horrible I don't get why people think he's a good coach. His adjustments are non existent or way too late. Like look at 2010 as a quick example. He starts Bibby who was complete washed trash the entire postseason. Only finally made the switch to Chalmers in like game 5 or 6 of the finals facing elimination, it took that long for him to realize Bibby was killing us lol.

Dragic may be a better offensive player, but not by much really, but the issue on Spo’s system was his defense. Dragic can’t cover 4s nor 5s like Lowry is forced to here lol, and he couldn’t stay in front of his man on rotations, but of course he had a knee surgery I think in one summer here.

we can't tank. It's too late and it would be too obvious. Silver would penalize our draft pick. Good for a gag though.
lol so we cant even make trades now? if lal gives us picks for jimmy and we wana rebuilt, we cant do it now?? since when is rebuild something that is punishable? theres nothing he can do against a team rebuilding. silver has come up with so many dumass ideas its hard to keep track of them all by now, this current one is up there, but that dum in season tourney takes the cake.

You're on the money and I'm in total agreement. You've basically pointed out Spos weaknesses. He's old now and he is what he is so you live with the cons. He's not going to change.
