Not to toot my own horn, But somebody's got to do it.
Been saying start Melton since draft night trade. Been saying bring Tucker off the bench and play a lot of center minutes... You don't need Reed, he sucks except when someone's injured. Been saying Sixers fans don't fight for Reed, fight for Thybulle to play or hell to start. But just like everybody was telling me during the offseason, they didn't bring Tucker here not to start. Tucker probably didn't come here thinking he wouldn't start. You have to give it a shot in order to honor agreements. Not working, he can have a big roll off of the bench.... And solidify the 4 and 5 positions along with the two others. Overall he has been good this year.... It's just not a fit in the starting lineup.
I can only hope that Rivers has not been playing Thybulle because of the pressure from Morey and Harden to play their guys. Their new two-way guys. I hope this game changes that for good. Matisse, Melton, and Maxey provide you with your athleticism, with Tobi being decently athletic only when he's your 4. Playing Joel, Harden, Tucker, Tobi and Maxey (who isn't a defender) is uber problematic defensively. That lineup could possibly work versus
certain matchups only in the playoffs. That line up could work versus the bucks maybe.
