This is not basketball related even though I get that some don't find him as some great talent and that those in power get away with things they shouldn't.
This situation does have 'actual victims' even if comparisons to other types of crimes like spousal abuse you cited are of a physical contact nature.
He has had a steady GF. They've been (were?) together since before he got drafted. Getting laid isn't the issue. Deviant behaviour is.

3 things here, from least important to most important:
1) Primo was not exactly a scrub. He was a lottery pick that the Spurs were marketing as an integral piece of their future core. He was a featured player.
2) Based on the reports, he did it to both strangers and to Spurs employees.
But the one thing that really matters is this:
3) What Primo reportedly did is absolutely horrible. It is sexual assault, plain and simple. Yes, he didn't forcibly penetrate the women he exposed himself to (based on the reports, at least) but at the time of the crime his victims had no way of knowing that they wouldn't get raped. It is highly likely that they thought that they were about to get raped and that they went through that trauma. The trauma that Primo's actions caused to his victims is horrific and it's not something that anyone should go through.
Ok, I am not disagreeing with you, thanks for correcting me. I have tons psyhological traumas from just words said to me as a kid, so I understand that people are victims here and could have been traumatized, I didn't really meant to say that they aren't. But my point stands that we dont have consistency in these things and it is hypocritical in my opinion, Joshua is not waived if he was Tyrese Haliburton, we can say he is some kind of super prospect, but he really isnt. I am not saying he shouldn't have been waived, but I am saying, from league history, this is quite severe consequence.
It's the consequence that his actions merited. If Haliburton was caught sexually assaulting people then I would fully support waiving him. I do agree that a double standard does exist in the league but when it comes to crimes of this magnitude it absolutely shouldn't exist. Sexual assaults shouldn't be tolerated.
I agree, I think my first post was painted by leagues history. Of course we can't compare it regular jobs, I mean if this happened to any other company, its a no brainer fire, in the NBA, is still a bit surprising to me that this happened.
To me as fan, league is filled with talent, I really don't care if Miles Bridges plays again, and he was super highlight real, but dude is a flat out serious criminal. I fully support serious criminals being banned from a league, I dont really care if they are stars. What I was trying to say, is that NBA cares.
But I do admit, and maybe I am ignorant, but I find Joshua as lesser criminal here, if this report is correct, he is creep-criminal, and maybe I could forgive creeps if they mature and get treated. I wouldn't be upset if Joshua is back in the league, if Miles Bridges doesnt get a serious ban, I would be pissed of honestly.
