Did anyone "hate on Hachimura," prime? ...why is that what you start with?
I'd say everyone here is pulling for the kid to establish himself in the league. Obviously, that would be good for the team! Plus, he's obviously a really terrific young man.

He scored efficiently tonight for sure -- 15 points tonight on 12 FGAs & 1 FTA. That's very very good -- a .603 TS%.
He needs to keep that up, because so far, on the season, he's at 50% -- the lowest of his career. Both his 3 pt. % & his 2 pt. % are worse than they were in any of his previous 3 years.
Is that what it means to be a hater? -- to mention that fact? Would it be better if, ssshhhh, no one said anything about Rui's shooting so far.
OTOH, Rui is having his best year by far rebounding the ball -- he's grabbing 25% more boards per 40 minutes than the average of his first 3 years.
He's also blocking more shots than he ever before in his first 3 seasons. See I'm not a hater!
OTOH, he's getting fewer steals than ever -- which must mean that yeah I am a hater, right? I mean... I mentioned the fact -- which proves I'm a hater, doesn't it?
Yet, Rui is committing fewer fouls this year than his 1st, 2d or 3d years -- since I'm pointing out the fact, doesn't that mean that I'm not a Rui hater?
But, tell me prime... if I respond to your point that tonight...

by pointing out that in addition to Rui, all three of Morris, Gafford & Goodwin shot "above 50% from the field," does that indicate that there is no doubt, & I absolutely must be a Rui hater?
What if I go further & allude to the fact that Monte Morris actually shot even better than Rui? I mean... he did, didn't he?
Don't worry; it's just arithmetic: I won't call you a "Rui hater" if you agree that 18 points on 12 shots & 2 FTAs is actually better than 15 points on 12 shots & 1 FTA.
That's true, isn't it?

It was definitely nice to see Rui shoot well -- & move well overall.
Edit -- I see you corrected yourself, at least partially, on the shooting issue. Not all the way, but at least a little bit.
Definitely some ugly shooting from KP & Deni!
