If he develops his playmaking, he's the best player in this draft by a wide margin, IMO. Because he's on another level than everyone else, defensively.
With that in mind, should we be trying to pry Kenyon Martin from them? Martin can shoot and defend and has great size on the wing.
I'm surprised Kenyon Martin jr has panned out. He did nothing for me pre-draft. I don't think they'll let him go for cheap.
Yea, it was always confusing why he dropped. It's pretty clear that the guys that put forth the effort, paired with athleticism, playmaking, skills, and aggressiveness at the college level are going to pay off. After listening to a few of his interviews, it was clear he's not a dud of a person either. Not sure what the deal was there, but it was obvious he was going to provide at least role player production to whatever team he was going to.
In that same vein, I'm a little surprised that Wendell Moore hasn't carved out a role at all. He doesn't have the "all star" potential of Eason, but definitely a nice role player.
I still think the Warriors have their next Jordan Poole in Ryan Rollins. They'll be able to trade Poole for some serious value and easily replace him with Rollins, who I think was the steal of the draft. I mean, this guy is clearly going to pan out, imo. Clear playmaking ability, nice shot profile, size doesn't look exploitable on defense:
