The Gobert trade was so stupid it’s hard to wrap your head around.

The fact they didn't at least try to unload Dlo's contract in the trade is mindblowing stupid

I know we won't do it, but I'd try to pull one of the young guys from the Warriors bench since they've been so dreadful this year.

Thybulle for Moody would be ideal.

What is up with Cade Cunningham's jumpshot?

This dude was an elite shooting prospect but has shot just 31% from three in his first 75 NBA games.

His playmaking is already at a star level. If the jumpshot was where it was supposed to be, he'd be a bigtime piece already.

He’s already better than Gobert at age 21

This Fox-Monk-Huerter 3 guard unit is nice. Specially with Sabonis.

It's such a shame because it looked like Collins was playing at an insane level.

Shooting, passing, rebounding, defense. He was nearly perfect basketball player before he got hurt again.

https://www.basketball-reference.com/players/c/colliza01.html

Even though he's a walking injury, I think Morey should place a call to Bufford. Collins can be a lottery ticket for us. If he's healthy, he solves our rebounding and shotblocking issues because he has the shooting (and passing) to start at PF next to Embiid.

Nets need to trade some of their 30+ guys to make room for the young guys.

Trade Joe Harris. Watanabe is just better than him because he plays defense ontop of being a good shooter. They also have Kessler Edwards waiting in the wings who can shoot and defend at F just like Watanabe.

Trade Seth Curry and/or Patty Mills. It makes no sense to keep both of them. They're both munchkins that get demolished defensively. Cam Thomas plays the same role as them, but is way more dynamic than them and has way more size (6'4" 210) than them.

We both like Collins.

NBA bigs are allowing the lowest opponent FG% at the rim Per NBA Stats (min. 40 shots faced):

1. Ivica Zubac - 36.1%
2. Daniel Gafford - 45.0%
3. Zach Collins - 49.0%
4. Clint Capela - 49.2%
5. Evan Mobley - 49.3%

But given Embiid’s fluctuations of conditioning and physicality/spiritual availability and abundance of talent out there, i’d rather take my chances on other talents

I can't believe Tari Eason fell to 17 and we made no attempt to get him. He's going to be a Draymond type guy (who can actually shoot) for them for the next 10 years.

I think we can get Zach Collins for next to nothing, given his injury history. Spurs might swap him for Korkmaz/Milton and call it a day. If he gets hurt again with us, then we stick with the status quo. But if he's healthy, the majority of our holes are filled.

If he develops his playmaking, he's the best player in this draft by a wide margin, IMO. Because he's on another level than everyone else, defensively.

With that in mind, should we be trying to pry Kenyon Martin from them? Martin can shoot and defend and has great size on the wing.

I'm surprised Kenyon Martin jr has panned out. He did nothing for me pre-draft. I don't think they'll let him go for cheap.

Yea, it was always confusing why he dropped. It's pretty clear that the guys that put forth the effort, paired with athleticism, playmaking, skills, and aggressiveness at the college level are going to pay off. After listening to a few of his interviews, it was clear he's not a dud of a person either. Not sure what the deal was there, but it was obvious he was going to provide at least role player production to whatever team he was going to.

In that same vein, I'm a little surprised that Wendell Moore hasn't carved out a role at all. He doesn't have the "all star" potential of Eason, but definitely a nice role player.

I still think the Warriors have their next Jordan Poole in Ryan Rollins. They'll be able to trade Poole for some serious value and easily replace him with Rollins, who I think was the steal of the draft. I mean, this guy is clearly going to pan out, imo. Clear playmaking ability, nice shot profile, size doesn't look exploitable on defense:

Yeah, Martin surprised me as well. Thought he'd just be generic defensive wing with no offense. But he's worked hard af on his shooting and is already a career 36% shooter in year 3. And he's even showing some playmaking chops this year with a double digit assist percentage out of nowhere. I guess we would have to hardsell them on creating a spot for Eason to get on the court more in an effort to get them to part with him.

I have no clue what happened with Eason. Like you said, we all saw the shooting splits improvement where his three AND free throw were great at LSU. Should have been a sign that he was going to be a two-way contributor. I guess the age stuff and some of the bad body language stuff scared teams off. Like how does Keegan Murray get top 5 love but Eason barely get talked about as lotto? They were both old sophomores.

I know you were in on Rollins. I didn't do much research on him other than a surface level glance right before the draft. Thought he looked like a good playmaker with some nice on-ball defense. I wonder if the jumper can be consistent. Feels like that's the make it or break it trait with all of these guys.

You nailed it with LaRavia, btw! I like that dude. He looks like he's going to be a hell of a player. Might even eventually unseat Aldama (assuming Sandi continues to struggle with the J).

Ben, Kyrie, Cam Thomas, and 2, maybe 3, firsts for AD and Westbrook.

I think the Cavs and Raptors are the two best teams in the East right now. And both have a centerpiece to trade for Durant if they feel he can put them over the top (Mobley and Barnes).

And they have the exact structure of roster to stop Giannis
