There's a bunch of people downplaying everything who think trying to win should be above everything. This past year+ is maybe the most disfunction any team has faced in NBA history. I wish that was an exaggeration. I don't blame the Nets for laying low.
Right. the optics are really bad surrounding this team right now. Like take a step outside of our echo chamber...the Nets are despised nationally.
My conjectured take: Adam Silver most likely knows exactly what happened in Boston and told Tsai to fall the f back because he was doing too much. Kyrie's scandal + Nash firing and then you bring in Ime who clearly crossed some kind of red line with his behavior..
This situation is so bad that winning isn't even a cure all here.
