Duren (+10) and Bagley (-9) and coach Casey actually went small ball down the stretch with Stew at C and the Bey/Bojan combo at the forward spots.

Knox solid off the bench tonight as well.

Lol, I wonder if it matters who you are playing with and what opponents are on tge court with you. Gee, could there be a ton of variables there that aren't taken in to account? Of course there are.

CoJo played plenty with the starters and with the bench and played to finish out the game against Miami's starters and he played really solid tonight.

CoJo played plenty with the starters and with the bench and played to finish out the game against Miami's starters and he played really solid tonight.

Then why mention Killian?

Lat time we visited the Bucks for that 2 game set, the 2nd night we got DESTROYED by like 25. All the starters were like minus in the mid twenties. Cade was like minus 25? So were the rest of the starters. Killian played 22 minutes, almost HALF THE GAME, and he lead the team that night at -3. So for Killian we were ONE SINGLE POSSESSION , ONE THREE POINTER down to the Bucks for near HALF THE ENTIRE GAME.

Now, can you tell me if Killian was REALLY a difference of like 22 in the plus minus over Cade, BB, and the rest? Or, could there really be a ton of variables that those numbers reflect that are causing those numbers?

Next question is, shall we go back and see IF YOU MENTIONED KILLIAN LEADING THE TEAM IN PLUS MINUS AFTER THAT GAME? I have a strange hunch that you didn't , hmm, do you have an AGENDA?

By the way, in the first game of that 2 game set, the close one where Cade was lighting up the midrange, guess who was 2nd on the team in plus minus only behind Livers who was a plus 12? You know the answer, Killian was.

But, do you think Killian was better than Cade, who had a great night knocking down those mid range jumpers? Or again, could it be variables again that the numbers don't take account of?

You see, when casuals have no idea what they are watching they tend to latch on and look fir silly stats to tell them what to think.

Can you tell me why Casey just said recently that Killian is THEIR BEST PG? Surely you know better than him how less valuable Killian is than Cojo, right? Casey said his defense, passing ability, court vision, bb iq, help defense were enough to make him valuable and that him scoring more was simply "gravy on top". Now why would the actual coach of the team seem to be on such a directly opposing view from yours?

For instance, I bet he sees things like Killian hounding opponents on defense and causing a turnover outvof bounds, but he knows that doesn't count as a steal for Killian, it's just a team turnover on the opponents stat sheet, Killian gets no steal stat for that. Hmm, I bet there are a lot of things that Casey can see in Killian that are valuable to the team. But of course, if you aren't able to see those things then you might just hunt for stats you think support your shallow understanding of the game.

Your back handed, constant ridicule of Killian is patgetic. And yours are the worst kind of mealy-mouthed nonsense because you always bad-mouth in an attempt to hide your hatred for Killian. Yet, you would always do it with an eye toward backing off if Killian eventually develops into a good player. In other words, you do not have the courage of your convictions.

I told you all along that Killian WAS ALREADY A VALUABLE PART OF THIS TEAM, even with zero offense. And isn't it amazing, his coach also seems to know that he was already valuable before his recent uptick.

Usually, I find most all the Killian haters end up being kids, teens who expect instant gratification and think scoring is the only thing that matter. Then I laugh when I find out they were like 2 years old when Ben Wallace was playing, lol.

I would like you to confront Casey and explain how you know more than he does and that Killian has no value at all to tge team, explain to him that defense doesn't matter, passing doesn't matter, help defense, court vision..., tell him that you found stats saying his plus minus is worst on the team and that THERE ARE ZERO UNACCOUNTED FOR VARIABLES THAT can make those stats worthless.

And explain to him that since you can find these stats, well, you could be a coach too.

Those were just a few interesting stats that stood out to me. I'm rooting for Killian I'm sure he'll have a nice bounce back game tomorrow. Can't wait! Have a good night!

For once, I turned on the game when the Pistons were up 3, and they just kicked them all over the court after I tuned in. That almost never happens. Bojan - wow.

Burks and Bogdanovic are a blessing for this team. Bojan can get us a first round pick if we want that and Burks a couple of seconds. Said that, I would keep them both since they are really nice influence for the team. They share the ball, help the other guys and they make the games watchable.

Besides that, I liked Stewart a lot. Normal stats but his game was really mature. Good defense, taking the right shots, right calls, passing when it was the time and he is getting better and better at putting the ball on the floor.

I like where we are right now, if only Cade could join.

I agree both have been steady vet forces for the young guys. I can understand both angles.... Trading Bojan for a pick helps ensure we get a top 5 or 6 pick this year where if you keep him and the young kids improve throughout the season we might draft a bit worse. I'm also leaning towards keeping him unless he ends up netting us a pick that is from more of a bubble team that could end up giving us a late lottery pick if things work out for us (and not them).... if its a pick like #22 - #25 or something I'm not really interested in a pick like that for Bojan.

"7-11 Hands Up, Harry" kind of defense? LOL
It seems our defensive switching worked great for a team like Miami, that plays slower, methodically... And we'll have to do less of it when we play other teams. Good win. Bojan was great in the 2nd half, but he didn't force it, and he had a few nice fakes, pass, another pass = score. It's so easy when you move it around. And Miami stopped moving the ball, and they missed all their shots. I like Ivey cutting to the basket. He should get one dunk every game.

Add Cade with our draft pick next year, and we might lose respectably?

So true.
It's damned if you do, damned if you don't with a few posters around here.

With that said, it would be nice if the few wins they do get were more driven by the young guys. I love Bojan but Bojan and Burks carrying the team to wins isn't the best for development so I can see why some might be a bit frustrated by it. Buuut, 7-19, so the tank is on schedule.

Also, my god was this thread a trainwreck. Between some of the questionable takes and Manocad trashing posters left and right.
I was hoping that this place would generate more traffic if the team ever gets any better but threads like this make me doubt that ever happens.

I think that's his calling in the NBA long term, a microwave scorer off the bench.

I’ve got 4 reported posts by you in one thread. This ain’t working out. Something’s gonna have to give here.

You literally just followed a post in which one poster goes on a pretty long winded personal attack with this? I mean, "Your analysis sucks" is a problem? For starters, it's not a personal attack; that would be "YOU suck." Second, are we all supposed to agree with each other's opinions? Because I didn't get that memo. Some of the opinions posted DO suck in my opinion which the last I checked, countering an opinion with an opposing opinion isn't a crime. Third, what's your definition of "productive" relative to an internet forum? More content in the post? More politeness? Like "Please forgive me, but I respectfully disagree with your assessment based on the following reasons...I hope you understand"? Because if that's the case there are a WHOLE LOTTA "unproductive" posts here that don't seem to raise your ire. Considering one particular person who posts nothing but "This team is garbage, I can't watch, blah blah blah" and you're busting my balls for "unproductive" posting?

Anyone can report any post. I can't control that. However there are forum rules that I'm assuming are supposed to be applied to everyone equally, and "Your analysis sucks" is NOT a personal attack. Concise and somewhat rude? Sure. But I don't recall charm being a requirement for this forum. If that were the case just about everyone here has failed at some point.
