Quite honestly, we don’t care.

Am I missing some joke or are we talking about that Ty Lawson?

getting rid of Steve Nash was the most important thing. Whether you think he was a good coach or not(I don't) he lost the team a year ago. They were not listening to him, and not willing to play hard for him, and you can see that in defense. Vaughn is not a great coach, but the players at least care about defense now. Nash was a dead man walking as soon as Durant asked for him to be fired. It was KD or Nash at that point.
Yeah, it's very much this, Nash lost the locker room and admitted that the team had stopped listening to him. I don't even think Vaughn is a better coach than Nash, but he has the buy-in from the players, and the team is doing much better (with big help from scheduling & playing bad/injured teams). What picc is saying also plays a big part, the roster is finally available/healthy too.

Vaughn is definitely better than Nash especially in in-game adjustment. I don't see Nash could implement a zone defense at half time just like what Vaughn did against the Pacers.
Nash ran zone plenty of times in-game, and you guys do realize that Vaughn was Nash's defensive assistant the entire time, right?

Nash was literally the worst coach in the league. The idea that he wasn't the problem is comical. And youve been saying it for years.

The players lost faith in him because he was awful. And always has been.
I'm not talking to you and have no interest in arguing with you. Have a good day.

Lol, I really thought I missed a Ty Lawson comeback. I had already missed the Kemba/Dallas thing until a week ago or so.

Yeah because you defended Nash for the past 3 years and were proven horrifically wrong.

Now you think Vaughn isn't better. Ok

Since Nash was fired they have the 6th best defensive rating in the league…. Their D is better what the narrative is on them

I still don't trust them in the playoffs. If they get matched with the Sixers or Celtics, they're going to get cooked on that end.

Yeh Celtics, Bucks and Sixers are a tough matchup for sure, but credit where credit is due.

To clarify, I'm talking about Vaughn purposely not running zone in first half then running it right at the start of second half. So Carlisle didn't have time to adjust during the halftime break.

In addition making players buying in is part of coaching. At the end Nash failed at that. So far Vaughn hasn't. It's even funny when you consider that Nash is supposed to be the player's coach.

I don’t see them beating

Celtics
Sixers
Bucks
Cavaliers

In a 7 game series but give them credit they are playing better

Coaching was definitely the problem before but I don't think it's a matter of Nash Vs Vaughn. It's more of the team accepting to be coached in the first place. It looks like KI/KD took back the "we dont need a coach" BS and as a result the team is now playing more structured basketball. As opposed to the pickup style my turn - your turn they were playing last year (which the Celtics wiped their butt with).
