Jokic needs a ring to validate another mvp regardless of his team health or otherwise
Why?
Jokic needs to provide VALUE during the regular season, just like every other MVP Contender does.
And Jokic provides. Twofold. He not only provides the most Value for his Team, but for me as well.
Those guys earn trunks of money for throwing a ball through a ring and that means, they are hopelessly
overpaid for what they do - Because the game of Basketball (or any professional sport for that matter) as a whole,
has no real Value for Human Society.
Now, if we pay them these sums then at least I wanna be entertained to the maximum.
That's their job.
And of all the Players out there ... The Durants, Currys, Tatums, Embiids, Giannises ... Jokic is the player,
who entertains me the most.
Everyone else appears to be a well-trained, athletically freakish, muscle-memorized shooter, dribbler or dunker.
With Jokic on the other hand, I feel like watching a Magician on Stage.
I never know, what surprise he's gonna pull out of his hat, once he gets the ball.
That's why I gave him my Vote.
It's the icing on the cake, with the cake itself being the raw numbers that just underline the value
he provides for his team on the court.
Wether or not his Team ever wins a Championship is absolutely meaningless in this very Context.
Ans with that, it makes no difference if he wins it for a 3rd, 4th or 7th consecutive season.
The past is the past. The only thing that exists is this very moment.
And If I feel like he deserves it at the Moment. He gets it.
