So they need wing help, but they're trading two wings for a wing and a SG?

I wonder just how many extra assets we’d get from Chicago in a DLo-Lonzo deal? The Bulls want to keep Zach happy, and he seems to be drifting
I’m not endorsing acquiring Lonzo, but I will say that its interesting to me.

On paper Ball is an incredible fit. Unfortunately the only reason he'd be available is if the knee injury is serious, which would mean there's no point in getting him.

Min Out: D'lo, Anderson
Min In: Lowery, Bogdonavic
Mia Out: Robinson, Lowery
Mia In: Young, Anderson
Atl Out: Young, Bogdonavic
Atl In: D'lo, Robinson
Min likes this because we get something back for the D'lo contract in Lowry, even though he is older he can really teach this young group about winning. Lowry also helps with the loss of Anderson defensively and IQ wise. Bogdonavic is currently in top 10 for 3 point makes per game as well.
Mia like this trade as there have been rumors that they are wanting to upgrade at PG, obviously Young is that. They also get off the Robinson contract and bring in a high IQ player like Anderson to help them push for a championship again.
Atlanta like this trade as they are getting some return for Trey Young wanting out (according to rumors) and if they want to tank they now have D'lo expiring contract and they also get Robinson who might flourish again in a new home.
This trade works on NBA trade machine, obviously draft picks will also need to be thrown in for compensation, especially for the Trae Young part of the deal.

I tend to look at it like a gamble. Right now, CHI doesn’t know if he’s going to get better, we don’t know, and Ball himself probably doesn’t know. The NBA has moved past the time when they could hide medical info or misrepresent their players over injuries, after a few trades were rescinded a number of years back.
Obviously if MIN was going to take on this risk, they’d need to be compensated. But if Connelly was a bigger risk-taker than the Bulls GM (Mark Eversley .. yeah, I had to look it up!), who knows? But what does CHI have in assets that would make it worth the risk? Right now, Ball was voted #5 in the Ten Worst Contracts poll on the Trade Board.

I like this idea a lot. Clears the books, and clears playing time for Duarte next year. Wow, Hield is 30! They can become the big cap space trader next year.
Not sure on valuation. Neither of the Pacer players have real value, but I’d be okay including either Nowell or Naz to give them a little incentive. They may feel Buddy is worth a first after the Laker rumors, but he’s just a good three point shooter making $20 a year.
So good, I tossed it up on the Trade Board. Let’s see what neutral people think?

What about switching it up and getting Theiss, Nesmith and Nembhard back, and a pick as well.

I was surprised how little traction this got. IND is sixth in the East, so the thought was that they’d want to maintain Hield and McConnell. I get that they’ve done well so far, but does this swap really keep them out of the playoffs? And wouldn’t they prefer to get playoff experience for their young players, not the 30 year old Hield and McConnell? Next year they really profit too. Head scratcher for me - I like the deal for both sides.
