I don't think Amen or Scoot are good shooters. To date, Cade, Ivey, and Hayes have not demonstarted they're good volume three point shooters. And all these guys do well with the ball in their hands. They're young and it can change, but they do seem to be a group that isn't a fit.

Regardless of how opposing fans may view him, I just think the Raptors FO thinks of Barnes future extremely highly. I mean, they had a chance to get KD by trading Barnes + picks and passed.

Simply put, you just don't trade a top 5 pick who your franchise is very high on in their 2nd year, unless a team is giving you a stupidly good deal like Luka or something. You just don't.

It's the equivalent of you suggesting to trade for Jalen Green, Houston is not going to trade him. Just like Detroit is not going to trade Cade. It just won't happen, not in the 2nd year, especially.

OG is a nice player but not really going to turn this franchise around, and to boot he can opt out of his deal after next season which puts a limit on his value to a team like the Pistons. You're better off getting value trading him to a better team, and I'd imagine those are the types of teams hoping to acquire him.

Yeah, I’m not saying you should be willing to trade Barnes.

Just that nothing else is really enticing in my eyes.

And of course we’re attached to all of those guys.

And while I wouldn’t claim to know what our front office is thinking, I do think reasonable conclusions like “we wouldn’t deal the number 2 pick for OG” can still be inferred.

Ok I'm not even considering trading pick 2 for a huge haul Scoots been so good since he came back. I thought he might shut it down for the season but he wants to play because he loves the game. Hit a couple game winners he really does have the complete package. He will 100% change our culture and we need that,

Just reading about his background this guy is going to be great. Comes from a basketball family been watching film since he was a little kid. Hes not just elite athleticism hes got the high IQ and feel for the game you're looking for. Hes also a leader just a true game changer if we you land this guy.
