Gallo was going to give us something we've never really had before. a 6'10" dude who is REALLY good at knocking down shots, creating shots off the dribble for himself (low post, mid post, attacking from perimeter) while being able to make slick passes from all of those spots too. A guy with size who can dribble/pass/shoot.
Offense is fun but I think defense first when I think of positions. You are who you guard.
Prob what it comes down to on this team
I had Danilo at the 2 in some lineups I concocted after the trade, but after watching highlights from last season, it'd be a big ask. Today's NBA is fast.
Edit
I think we brought him in to preserve Al without slowing down the offense. It was a pure o over d decision.
WOW BBRef has Sam at the 4 an estimated 78% of his minutes this season

I didn't see that -- who TF is playing backup SF on this team?
I guess Derrick -- they have 11% of his minutes estimated at SF
Brogdon and Marcus are about 0% there
So anyway: I want Javonte Green or similar. IDK if Gallo takes Hauser's minutes either late this spring or next year -- would rather the young guy keeps a rotation spot because it gives the franchise more versatility, but if he doesn't, he doesn't.
