Some of us have a very close minded, black and white way of looking at things. When you have a player who is clearly not built the same as most conventional players, maybe a different approach can be used.
Watch all the softmores and tell me you can't see the difference between a guy who is clearly trying to make his team better vs a guy who's still learning how to play basic basketball and using the season as a practice drill. Like I said, Barnes' basketball mind is far ahead of his peers. He also has this uncanny ability to learn and adapt mid-season.
We know Siakam and FVV ball isn't helping anyone else on the team other than themselves. Let's try to put something together that actually helps Raptors ball. There's no easier way to see this than how discombobulated the bench gets with one style of play vs another. There's a clear and obvious reason for this.
Oh btw, this team isn't winning a championship this year, so what exactly are we looking to accomplish by playing the exact same way as last season when you have a player who is clearly a key to your offense? Where are the tweaks and adjustments?
